The service at this place has deteriorated over time, as they have become more money conscious then before, my husband and I used to frequent it at least once a month, Last friday we went there, the female hostess was all smiles, but something deep inside me something is going to go wrong and it did. I used to always order a lumber jack and request the servers before to substitute my pancakes for a waffle and I would pay extra for the chocolate chips, voila this time when I asked the server the same, she said let me check, and she came back saying the Manager said its not possible, I said how come? I have been many times before and I asked for the same and I was not refused? Then the Manager came along and said we can do it but you have to pay 3 dollars.
I said sorry you have just lost a long standing patron of your restaurant. For me it is principles if you have served it before for the printed price why suddenly ask for 3 dollars more? I do not mind paying the 3 dollars, but walked out only because the way it was put forward to me by the server and manager. They owe me an apology
Got dragged here with some friends one morning. Not my first choice by any means trust me. The place is tacky and shabby and there was a powerful smell of industrial cleaner in the air. Very appetizing.
Ordered a grand slam with a side of fruit, coffee and water and it was over $25. For breakfast mind you. The hash browns were burnt and crunchy and the food was cold.
Stay away.
