Really good service, really good food. The fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. They can even grill it if you'd like.
Love the fries, you can tell they are fresh cut.

Place has its age but I think it adds to the charm.
Visit more than once and you become family.

Fries were tasteless & bland, no flavor and the oil used tasted strange.
My piece of haddock was mushy under the batter, although my husbands was firm.
Server does not have hair covered--try a hairnet or wearing a hat!
Overall OFC was an underwelming experience and we will not return--there are much better options in the Oakville area.
The meal was fantastic. Cecilia takes great care and pride, ensuring that the fish is exactly the way it should be: Perfect.
We are always greated with a smile and feel like we are going over to a friend's place for a meal.
This food truly measures up to the Fish and Chips we have while in the UK---our relatives cannot get enough when they are over.

Excellent service! The food is very good as well. We've only had one problem with our food which was fixed very quickly out of the many times we've visited.
I'll only order take out. I used to go there during my lunch break at school for a quick poutine with friends. We had trouble getting our drinks freshened. The food took a long time to be ready (Poutines were all we would get). We always seemed to get a cold shoulder when we walked in and it seemed as if our presences was a burden for the restaurant. I regret ever tipping now.

This was my second time this year, the first time I made the mistake of going on Good Friday. The place was packed, and the takeout line was out the door.
Basically, what that means is the fryers were working overtime and the batter wasn't 100%.
However, it was still fantastic, and it probably some of the best fish & chips I've had in Canada. The staff makes a big deal out of the deep fried mars bar, faking that they have none in stock, but... oh... they'll make one especially for you. They've made one 'especially for me' 3 times now.
Oh well. Very highly recommended.

This place is so good. There are new owners tere now and they are a super friendly mom and daughter team! They take care in making sure the fish is just as good as it was when the old owners were there--if not better!
I'll definately be going back--and maybe making a reservation this time! Maybe for our staff christmas lunch...they are licensed!!
THIS RESTAURANT WAS MAGNIFICENT.
Mother and daughter treat every customer with respect, constantly wearing smiles on their faces. Food was fantastic. Simple Taste, but so flavourful. I will definitely be back by next week.
