Shoppers Drug Mart King & Park

I went to this pharmacy the other evening for a flu shot. The pharmacist who was giving the flu shots was also working in the pharmacy. She was serving customers and giving information and then came into the consultation room where the flu shots are given. She called me into the room and was ready to give me a flu shot without changing her gloves. I had seen her working in the pharmacy and touching her face and hair with her gloved hands.I had to ask her to change her gloves. Not professional.

If you need a prescription filled DO NOT use this pharmacy! I took a prescription here and the pharmacist said he had too many prescriptions to fill and it would take over an hour. I said it was fine I would wait. Then he said he couldnt read the doctors handwriting so he couldnt fill it. To the customer waiting in line behind me he asked if he would like pills or liquid. When he said liquid the pharmacist asked if he was a baby.

I swear they go out of their way to be the most poorly managed and disorganized Shoppers. It’s that bad. Can never find what you’re looking for, stickers are off a lot of the items that were in the flyer and just terribly trained front staff. They either can’t do their jobs or they’re just plain rude. Pharmacy is even worse, I had my ODB number and the pharmacist insisted I pay for my prescription and that “it won’t work”. Like it does at every other pharmacy. How do they have jobs?!

Shoppers Drug Mart at King and Park in Oshawa has the WORST pharmacy I have ever used. They have made so many mistakes including sending refill request to the wrong doctor causing me to have to pay for a month’s worth of medication instead of getting3 month’s worth. Trying to call in an actually speak to someone is nearly impossible at any time of day. They have horrible customer service. I have had several issues with the pharmacy. I highly suggest going to a different pharmacy!

The 1 star is being nice. Went into the store to fill a prescription for my daughter who had just been discharged from the Oshawa hospital. Seema was the pharmacist on duty. She approached my wife and I with a bad attitude asking "what do we want?", she was very stern and abrupt with some of her questions, when I asked do you smile?
