We were visiting Ottawa from Burlington two weeks ago and tried Capones with a friend who is a regular customer. Fantastic experience. When I returned home, I couldn't help talking to my wife about the experience, so much so that a few days later we got in the car and drove up to Ottawa to try Capones together! Just as good the second time around. My wife LOVED it! Be sure to so hello to Tony the owner. He and his staff treat everyone like they are his very best customers.
Non-trendy Italian food made to please, this restaurant will satisfy all but the anal foodies out there! Friendly service and reasonable prices makes this a return destination for me and my family. If you are looking for overpriced, over-hyped, got-to-be-seen type of restaurant, stay downtown, this is not the place for you.
We went there with a large group after a wedding rehearsal, and they accomodated us very graciously. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the lasagne, it was a big hit - few of us could finish it tho'! You really get your money's worth and more. I'll be back to try the dishes my friends ordered! -
Every anniversary my boyfriend now husband would go there for a nice meal. We always had a great time, the atmosphere was relaxing and fun. We don't get to go as often because we don't live in ottawa anymore. Great food and great atmosphere!!!!
We had been at Capones a number of times as a small group or family but we had over a dozen people there for my Father's 90th and it was a grand affair.

I liked the dim interior, very cosy or romantic (depending on whom you're with). I loved the food which was plentiful, although you can ask for smaller portions, and the service was impeccable. I'll definitely go there again! It's a real treat!

Food was delicious and the service is polite, quite and "not pushy." I always leave here feeling relaxed. I have always and will continue to be a Capone's patron.
Very mediocre Italian food. Dark atmosphere. What are they trying to hide? Don't go there if you want anything but very heavy, calorific, heart attack waiting to happen food. No wonder there were only three tables occupied at lunch time.
