Zero stars for Swiss Chalet tonight! $150 Order. Ordered the Creamy Rose Hand Breaded Chicken, which is in the pasta section of the mobile app menu. Turns out at $18.99 for the item the pasta and sauce are a side dish. It’s shown with the pasta together in a bowl but it’s a side dish. The restaurant could not “afford” to send us two pasta a sauce dishes. Comes down to read the fine print when you order and the customer is no longer right.
i paid for her meal because i had no i.d. but they did sing!
What a terrible experience! Took my nine year old for her birthday. Saythat kids eat free on their birthday. I asked if they do a cupcake and a candle and was told they don't do that anymore , asked if they sing happy birthday but was told they only do that if they aren't busy and that you need to show I.d.!!! So I didn't bring I.d. and my granddaughter was too upset to eat! They then said they could give her a choice of pie which she hates but by this time I ordered the hot brownie for her.
Take out awful..ordered couple weeks ago online..received confirmation but when I got there they said special is over..didn't offer anything else.
Ordered next week...chicken was dry and crunchy and looked like leftovers. Not trying s 3rd time..already complained with no reply
We were seated very quickly, no wait. It was lunch on a Friday. Our server was courteous and polite. The food was good and the prices fair.
I guess my only beef was the very limited menu. Chicken, fries or salad. While salad is OK, I prefer some vegetables occasionally. There were none. Otherwise a pleasurable meal.
We had a huge group visit, and the food was served very fast.
I got a heaping portion of salad because I substituted it for my fries. So pleased :).
The waitresses were very accomodating to the large number.

I had the most horrible experience that you could have with my waitress. I had made a mistake with my order,(wrong salad), so i quickly exchanged my choice. Then I realized that i was allergic to the dressing that was on that particular salad. I i got up from my table to go and quickly tell her that i would have to change the choice of my dressing. When i had gotten to the back of the rest. she was already mimmiking me to her fellow staff. After i had told her about the dressing she rolled her eyes, and changed my order. But as i was walking away, i heard the staff (including managment) talking badly about myself. Saying that i couldnt make up my mind and that i was an annoyin coustomer. I stopped in my spot turned around and had said to all of the "staff" that i was only a fue feet away and that i could hear them,and that they shouldnt treat there coustomers like that.. as i began to walk away again, they alll started to laugh~!!! I have been in the rest, and catering buisness for many years now,and one thinhg that you never do especially when you are dealing with a franchise that is all over the world, is treat your coustomers with disrespect. Especially managment. i usto reallu enjoy going with my family to swiss chalet, but due to this expeience i can say that i will never return to another swiss chalet anywhere.
Food was good and fast. Waitress was freindly. I've been here a couple of times and never had a really bad experience. I can always count on Swiss Chalet!
I used to love Swiss Chalet, then we moved to Peterborough and that opinion changed very quickly. Personally I love their rotisserie chicken (it's what they're known for). So naturally I ordered a half a chicken from a very unwelcoming, unpleasent and unappealing (looked like she was drunk or high) waitress. When our food arrived (45 mins after ordering) my chicken was very dry, to the point of me having to drink water with every bite. My other half had ribs and they were not cooked long enough, too chewy and not tender at all. Won't be going back and will be telling others to do the same.
Great food..good service..only complaint..too noisy in there..something not right with the "acoustics"...the Swiss Chalet in Coburg is not noisy like Peterborough
