Meet the owner

There was no restaurant in Richmond Hill that served the type of home-style Italian cooking Michael Piccolo remembered and loved from his childhood, and he yearned to be able to pass on these delights to his community. With their respective talents in the kitchen, Michael and his uncle realized they could do something special if they put their heads together. “We got together,” he recalls, “basically brought our two passions together to open up a small restaurant.” In 2009, Tutti Panini Inc. was born.

Wanting to further his involvement with the community of Richmond Hill, Michael sends the Tutti Panini food truck into local events throughout the year. “We were getting a lot of outside requests and we wanted to basically bring all of our sandwiches that were so popular in our store out onto the road,” explains Michael of how the food truck got started. “We do a lot of the fairs and festivals throughout York Region.” You can find the Tutti Panini food truck at events like the King City Beer and Food Truck Festival, Canada Day in Richmond Hill, Taste of the Hill and Newmarket Jazz Festival.
