    Good but not great.

    We went there last week for a quick dinner out. The server was not the greatest. She actually looked very uninterested but with that said maybe she was having a bad day. We ordered 2 pounds of wings and an order of chicken fingers and fries. The wings were tasty but the portions were no 2 pounds! The chicken fingers were grrrreat! This place is a little pricey for what you get but not a bad quick stop overall.

    TERRIBLE SERVICE

    Good afternoon, I have been to Jack Astor's [Scarborough] more times than I can count. Mainly because of the service, the quality of the food, and the atmosphere. Unfortunately my experience on Sunday evening was the exact "Opposite" from what I would expect. I had the confidence to take my wife and 2 kids, my Mother & Father, along with my sister and her 2 kids. Our server [I believe Meaghan] check on our table 1 time for the duration of our 1.15 hr visit. I had to request refills from 2 other services and my meal came 7 minutes after our group was served. I had to ask [directly] the manager for my Bacon Cheeseburger which he personnaly brought to the table. Normally the regular manager would have been all over this and would have done whatever he had to do to "beef" up the service. Our Coffee did not get refilled. ****We had to clear our own plates by carrying them over to the distribution area to give to the servrers who were not serving our table.......for the children to eat their deserts on the table. Perhaps this was an "Off" night at the restaurant but when I pulled the manager aside to "constructively" provide my feedback, he apologized....but did absolutely nothing to compensate/discount the bill or provide a gratis. Our respective bills totalled over $300.00. I work in the service industry and I would be ashamed of myself treating my customers with such a low level of respect.
