Cycle World Superstore has a long power sports history in Toronto Ontario. The building at 4545 Sheppard Avenue East, Toronto, Ontario, Canada was constructed in 1972 and the first tenants were Nelson Honda and the Royal Bank of Canada.Several years later, Nelson Honda was bought out by the owner of the building and he expanded the business into a multi-line OEM dealership that included Harley Davidson and renamed the dealership Cycle World. Cycle World quickly became a landmark location for many powersportsenthusiasts.Meanwhile in 1992, John Pugh, who had previously owned and operated three of Ontario's largest Kawasaki dealerships, had opened an independent dealership location in downtown Toronto called, The Motorcycle Superstore. The Motorcycle Superstore wasn't a glitz and glamour motorcycle shop but loads of people knew if you wanted good deals on used bikes and new parts and accessories, it was the place to go and the 5500sqft store quickly became packed to the rafters and very tight on space. In June 2007 and now 54 years old, John Pugh had decided to leave the power sports business behind him. He had been in it since he was 18 and decided to sell The Motorcycle Superstore property and liquidate his stock. Oddly enough and sadly, in August 2007 and after 30 years of serving the power sports community, Cycle World closed it's doors and the building was put up for sale.Well this immediately changed John's retirement plans. He realized that with both stores gone that left a large part of the power sports community underserved in Toronto's east end. After long negotiations he purchased the Cycle World property and renamed the business Cycle World Superstore. In February 2008, the difficult process of relocating started along with the backbreaking remodeling.The 9500sqft back building was completely gutted to the bare concrete walls and floors. Several coats of new paint and durable epoxy floors transformed the space into a more welcoming environment for customers. On the 4500sqft service side of the rear building, a 100% new service center including 8 service technician bays was constructed. I brought my motor scooter there for work to be done, the mechanic was very arrogant and rude ,they took 800 dollars from me and then returned my bike to me with nuts and bolts missing and made me sign a release form deeming it unsafe to ride . So I started doing my own work with limited tools, but still managed to get an other 15 years of riding on it with no problems I will never set foot in that store ever again .
I have visited this store on many occasions and every time have been very dissapointed with customer service. Employees are rude and terrible at answering questions. Nobody greats you with a smile or even puts an ounce of effort into showing they actually give a damn. I could say they are just after making money but even after offering them my business they are very difficult and unpleasant to work with, I felt uncomfortable and will never return here. Horrible and disrespectful.
Put a deposit down. Found the bike I was buying advertised for a better price, tried to get it matched with lots of problems and run around. Ended up losing my deposit. I also learned their bikes are imported from the USA and bought from auctions, I wasn't satisfied the bike would be free from problems. Even after telling me my deposit is "Fully refundable pending funding" as vague as that is, READ THE BACK OF THEIR CONTRACT and be VERY CAREFUL HERE when you buy a bike.
Sorry Mister, our store is not a Flea Market. You do not move from vendor to vendor looking for the lowest price on junk. Each used motorcycle is unique in it's quality, model, and accessories.
If you had not given false information on your credit application you would have been approved for your loan, and now out riding on your beautiful motorcycle.
Honesty is always the best policy.

service when where? how?
When they learn how to answer their phone let alone do what they say...that will be a miracle. The epitome of voicemail jail. They must like listening to themselves talk. Call and have a listen. Its like a radio station. Can't buy anything because no one has the ability to handle a call properly!
