We went to this place for my birthday because the weekend before we didnt have reservations and a party of 7 and there was a 45 minute wait that we did just not want to stay around for. The food was good. The meatballs in my spaghetti were massive! The Drinks and desserts we got were amazing. Our waitress was a sweet heart and her gift for me was not to sing happy birthday when she brought out my dessert with the sparkler. That was very appriciated because i didnt want more attention drawn to me. The restaurant was packed but i think she did a great job with serving us and we will be going back there for sure.

I have been here more then once, however, every time I go they OVERCOOK that pasta. Its so frustrating to see an italian place that cannot cook pasta aldente. The shrimp was not fresh and quite small, the mussels had sand in them as well. The portions are huge which makes it a good deal, however, its too overcooked. The fried calamari was excellent. The service was extremely slow and the waitress wasnt the friendliest.

The waitress was totally ignorant. I sympathize for the fact it was a tapas night, and was busy, but she totally ignored our table, seating 2 other tables after ours and taking their orders befor ours. To top off this poor service, we did not recieve all the tapas we ordered, and even were given a worng one. This was absolutly the worse service i have ever recieved at any sort of establishment and it is a shame that a restaurante such as this has sunk so low. It used to be a favourite and is now a last resort. The owners ought to pay more attention to the ignorance of their waitresses.

Have been eating there for at least 15 years. I have noticed a marked drop in the quality of the food. I have ordered the Gorganzola meal for years and again was not prepared well. The waitress brought it back to the kitchen and it was acknowledged it was not prepared correctly. The bread in the basket was again stale and the wife's chicken was dry. As a patron we dont like being referred to as "you guys". Server's etiquette has changed and lacks the proper address when greeting and serving patrons. We dine out at least 5 times a week and this restaurant is now off our list.

This is by far the best place in St. Catharines...

This is by far the best place in St. Catharines to eat. The staff is so friendly that I would eat there even if the food sucked. The food is just fantastic, I have never had a bad experience here before!
