It was indeed prompt, my computer was actually fixed sooner than expected, and indeed caring as the tech took the time to patiently explain all issues to me, a person with very little computer savvy. I recently used Housecalls for the first time, and I really can't say enough about the prompt, knowledgeable and incredibly affordable service I received. No sales pitches, just a complete explanation of the problem and solution. I actually had to ask the tech to repeat the amount of the bill, as I was expecting something much higherI As with a previous reviewer, for a small (I mean small) quarterly fee, Housecalls will remotely clean up and optimize my computer every three months at a time suitable for me. I am so happy to have found an up front service I can trust!

Housecalls provided great service that helped get my small business back online. My work laptop crashed on a Thursday afternoon and by the end of Friday, 2 other computer repair places couldn't recover my data. Even though it was a Friday at 6pm, I was able to reach housecalls, brought my laptop in on saturday and they were able diagnose the problem quickly and recover all my data by the end of the weekend. Top quality service and affordable. No problem recommending them!

Excellent Service!

I have been a Housecalls customer for several years now. Any computer issues I have experienced have always been fixed promptly and expertly with a visit to my home at a time convenient to me. I have a Housecalls program installed that allows me to weekly and monthly run programs that keep my computer tuned up and free of viruses with just a click of an icon on my desktop. The program was even customized to do a couple of maintenance tasks specific to my wants. Recently I had an annoying and persistent bug that I could not deal with myself. I called Housecalls. Imagine my surprise to find out they can now fix issues REMOTELY. They logged on to my computer, after I gave them a password, and had the whole thing fixed in 20 minutes. Amazing! That's the sort of service I recommend to my friends and have no problem recommending to anyone else, as well! FIVE STARS!!
