This is a place caught in the past, mccain frozen fries that you can do better at home, wings that on special night are smaller than normal nights, on munchie tuesday appeteizers are half off ya right, and so are the portions they cut the tater skins in half!, the meat loaf is obviosuly frozen, the chicken is way overdone, steaks are adequate but the baked potatoes are days old, their all you can eat ribs are a joke, award winnning? yeah right, they are boiled ribs and they dont even cut the silverskins off, and they they just throw bbq sauce on them they would be laughed at by any bbq place, and the leftovers are made into pulled pork the next day..hey guys pulled pork is smoked pork shoulder(butt) , do yourself a favour and head down the road to memphis bbq for real ribs or to don cherrys up the road. Ill never set foot in this lace again.When you cannot even make fresh cut fries, you know the rest is garbage.
I am usually satisfied with the quality of the food at Mustang's. However, I ordered pick up of the Mile High Meatloaf dinner. Although I was warned that to order something like this was not a good idea, I thought... how bad could it be?
Well I found out.
The mile high meat loaf itself looked like it came out of a tin of cat food [the consistency and moulded appearance] just warmed up. The mashed potatoes looked like a cake of soap with a very sterile moulded look to them as well. The mixed vegetables were only 2 [whole baby carrots and green beans]. Not appetizing at all. Specifically asked for utensils as I was at work and surprise! Not in the bag when I got back to work. As well, they could have put butter packages in for the mashed potato but again, nothing. Made for a very drab meal.
To repeat, do not order this, ever.
Every other time I have been there, the food has been acceptable. But you missed big on this one, Mustang's!
My boyfriend and i are regulars at Mustangs... It is such a fantastic atmosphere...Now this is how you do a bar and grill.... the waitresses are always fantastic. The owner is there on a regular basis to check up on everyone and see how their meals are going. They usually start you out with fresh tortilla chips and fresh salsa while you're waiting on your meals. The specials they have are great... Monday & Wednesday nights are wing nights... you can get 2 pounds for the price of 1... If we go on a wing night the bill usually only comes to just over 20$... cant beat that!!.... Tuesday nights are Munchie Nights.... they have a seperate menu for appatizers that are on special.... they are all very delicious... and there is a wide variety.... Thursday nights are all you can eat rib nights... the ribs are very good (as i'm told by my boyfriend, because i'm not a fan of ribs)... Friday and Saturday nights are Prime Rib nights..... i've never personally had the prime rib, but i've heard its delicious!... and Sunday nights are Fajita nights.... you can get a large portion of fajitas for 2 people... i cant recall the price, but it is very reasonable!... Overall this resturaunt is amazing.... my boyfriend always says "you'd eat here for every meal if you could"... Their Chicken Club is what we usually get.... It is so delicious... fresh chickn breast on a garlic toast french baugette.... we get the French Onion Soup as our sides most of the time... it is the best i've ever had (mind you i just started eating french onion soup... so i haven't had it from a ton of places, however it is the best from here).... We are a huge fan of the Nachos (there is so much toppings on them).. we usually get the chicken ones.... Also the BBQ chicken brachetta is amazing!... If we are feeling like it after our meal we'll ask what the desserts are for the evening... i dont know why we ask, because we always decide on the brownie pail to split between us... it is so great.... fresh warm brownies (4), rich vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream... its the perfect dessert to end an increadible meal!.... The one thing that i do not like about Mustangs is the Birthday song they blair everytime someone has a birthday!!!!.... We get it.. someone is a year older.... Please just clap and sing.... the sombraros are so funny... but sometimes they play the song way too loud... one time we were sitting right by the speaker... they had a lot of birthdays during that visit.... BAH NA NA NA NA NA... TODAY IS YOUR BIRTHDAY... sometimes i cant get it out of my head.... That is my only complaint... So if you are looking for excellent food, a fantastic atmosphere and a quality resturaunt... i'd like to recomend you check out Mustang's Big Ol' Grill-- you'll thank me later!

Went for Lunch on Sunday, great service, cozy. I felt like comfort food so I ordered the Sheperd's Pie and it was very tasty. It came with a piece of fresh, warm garlic bread. My wife had a Chimichaunga and Greek Salad which was excellent also. Nice cold draft also!
It was the first time we had visited the restaurant,we were amazed at the way things were run,from the first staff member to the last,we felt very welcome unlike some other restaurants where you feel rushed out the door, we were able to eat and have a few drinks without being asked to finish up at the bar and they were quite busy.
Thank you and we are now regulars.
O-MY-GOD! They were the tastiest salads we've ever had!!! We were just passing through and decided to grab a bite. The salads were huge, very fresh, sooo good and the chicken was grilled to perfection!! I'd drive all the way there ( I live in Sudbury) just for a 10 dollar salad!! Delicious!
I gave the amenities section a 7 because we didn't stay, so We never experienced the atmosphere too much. But it looks like your typical grill, peanuts/shells, nachos...etc....

This was our 9th or 10th dinner at Mustangs and there are reasons why we keep coming back. All of the supper food we have tasted there has been fantastic and most of it even looks and tastes home made. The portion sizes are excellent and the prices are well in line, if not below, what you would pay somewhere else. We usually save around ten dollars from what we would normally pay elsewhere. The free warm nacho chips and salsa are a nice touch when you sit down. The side caesar is probably the best value I've ever seen or tasted as far as any other restraunt.
In fact we are going there tonight again with our in-laws.
You can't go wrong with mustangs
The place was nearly empty, so why did we get seated in the far back corner? We thought that was a little strange. The beer was a little flat but I've had worse. The burgers were actually pretty tasty until the "hair" appeared.

Once again, mediocre, nothing to rave about.
The prices are great and the portions were fair, but you know the saying "you get what you pay for". The ribs were basically okay (had to ask for more sauce, which is fine since i like mine saucy), the chimichanga's were a little dry, but very inexpensive, the pasta was something i could have made at home, the club sandwich was a just that - a sandwich, the fajitas were satisfactory (they were not very generous with the salsa, guacamole and sour cream), and the kids meals were cold.
We found the restaurant to be quite dirty and greasy as a whole - sticky menus, food-stained chairs, crumbs stuck on the cutlery, greas condiments bottles.
The service is always good but that doesn't make up for the average tasting food.
The chips and salsa were the best food of the evening....and they were free....
Mustang's is a great restaurant with fantastic food, fabulous service and very reasonable pricing! We eat there as often as we can...in fact we're heading there tonight as well!! This is a 10++++ restaurant, hghly recommended!
