We held a wedding dinner for 18 at Branca and everything surpassed our expectations. Food was amazing, staff were efficient and friendly and everyone was raving about the place. Can’t wait to return.

Looking for a place to set the mood? Check out Branca in Brockton Village for its perfect amount of ambient lighting, its hip-meets-cozy interior, and its impressive dining patio. Main courses are served on a wooden plank and cast iron pans at this Argentinian-inspired spot – and dishes like octopus, skirt steak, and other drool-worthy meat and fish options will have your date impressed.

A bit of a local secret, you’ll find this Argentine parilla (grill house) housed in a former residential home on a quiet stretch of Dundas Street West. The dining room has a casual-yet-elegant ambiance and the live-fire grill in the kitchen turns out charred skirt steak slathered in harissa or chimichurri sauce. The cocktail menu includes a unique take on the classic South American cocktail — the lime pepper pisco is made with pisco, fresh lime, egg white and aromatic bitters that give the drink an extra kick.

If classy industrial hipster was an aesthetic, this Argentinian steakhouse definitely nails it. A pink neon sign in the window beckons Brockton Village passersby and a large, wood-clad side patio is lit up by Emerson hanging lights and general good vibes (it’s also the ideal spot to enjoy an authentic caipirinha and some snack-y entradas in the summertime). Inside, soft lighting, exposed brick and marble tables create the backdrop for the mouth-watering meat dishes that are barbecued over an open fire in the hut out back.
