Best wings in the city

I often went here in my University days, and still do just for the wings. The Cajun wings have just the right amount of spice, and their secret hammer sauce (which isn't officially on the menu - ask for it) are great for those who don't want any heat but love sweet, sticky goodness. They have a great line-up of burgers as well, and the huge order of calamari is well worth it when it's in stock. Otherwise it's just your regular semi-dive college pub. Service varies greatly depending on who's on shift, but usually everyone is attentive and friendly enough. Lots of good local micro brews on tap and in bottles. They also have decent live music on Wednesdays and Saturdays, but avoid the free Sunday night "comedy".

I ordered medium chicken wings. When they came out I could tell they were hot by the look of them, since I've been there before. But just to make sure, I took a bit of one. Definitely hot wings. I asked for a new order of medium chicken wings. When they came back they were the same chicken wings but with medium wing sauce over the hot wing sauce. Even worse was that they had given me back the chicken wing that I had bitten and dumped medium wing sauce all over it. The waitress even said not to blame her, it was all the cooks’ responsibility. This is just pathetic and inexcusable. I called Einstein’s cafe for some sort of compensation. They said they couldn't reimburse or compensate me but that they hope this experience won't deter me from coming anymore. Not only has it deterred me, but I'm also making it a point to tell everyone about the poor service, resulting in poor quality food and to never go there.

My brother and I went to Ein-stein's for his birthday because he said that the wings were really good. They took a while to get to our table, about half an hour, but it was so worth it. The wings were delicious and really fresh, we must have gotten one of the first batches. They had a really good texture, they were crunchy and crispy, even though they had sauce on them. The sauce was flavourful and gooey and yummy. The wings are huge, but you don't feel overly stuffed or sick after eating them, just the right size. Definitely the best wings I've had. The fries were served super hot and they were crispy and very fluffy on the inside. The blue cheese dressing was nice and tangy and served as a nice side for the veggies and fries. Overall, the food was wonderful, and I will definitely go back. The wings are so good, I was already craving them after we left.
