I'm honestly amazed that with a manager like I encountered this place could even be in business. I've honestly never encountered anyone more rude in a restaurant, ever. Food was mediocre, and service was horrible. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else.

Hit or Miss pub food

I've been to the Foggy Dew for brunch a few times and have always enjoyed the food. We went recently for dinner and I was not as impressed. As a vegetarian I can't eat most of the menu items and the veggie burger is not good. The bun was dry and stale, and the burger was mushy and cold on the inside. Others had more traditional pub fare and were pretty happy with it. The day we were there something was wrong with the taps so they didn't have any draft beer (!). Our server came up to our table and said rather abruptly "What do you want to drink. We don't have draft". We looked at her a bit blankly and which point she sighed, rolled her eyes, and started tapping her pen on her hand very impatiently. She was extremely rude for the rest of the evening. I think this was an anomoly, though, because generally I've had quite good service here.

The pub staff here are very friendly - the bar-staff is especially competent. However, a waitress at this pub has a history of making billing errors in favour of the pub. It's happened to myself, the boyfriend, his co-workers etc Hot afternoons on the patio are great, chilly winter nights indoors are great - however being over-billed (intentionally or otherwise)by the same waitress 3 times within 5 months is unacceptable As such, I have rated this restaurant low. Perhaps the management should look into handling this matter. Cheers! --E

The staff was friendly and attentive. The scene was more mature and very busy. The atmosphere is cozy and warm., like a nice Irish Pub should be. :)
