Helix Healthcare Group is breaking the stereotypical view of mental illness and addiction issues, and is the first facility of its kind in Toronto to offer treatment plans with a holistic mind-body approach. Located in the heart of Toronto's upscale Yorkville neighbourhood, the state-of-the-art wellness centre offers sweeping views of the neighbourhood from its second and third floor space.

Helix Healthcare's signature Spectrum Recovery and Catalyst Wellness programs integrate a combination of neuropsychology, mind-body techniques and cutting-edge treatments through a compassionate and unique approach. CEO and co-founder Mark Rivkin attributes his own personal experiences to the company's growing success.

"I had substance abuse issues; (I was) taking an intensive program in the United States without the same kind of support here in Toronto," says Mark. "There's still a lot of stigma in dealing with mental health issues and substance abuse. We all know someone who has been touched or affected. We chose to create a centre that is discrete, and is able to support people on their recovery journey on their own time."
