I enjoy the look of the restaurant but do find it difficult to hear the conversation at my table. I don't know why it seems louder here than some other establishments. Of course, it's all due to the hard surfaces that don't absorb sound. And those hard surfaces are what makes 'the look' of the restaurant so attractive. Unfortunately, I do not remember our waiter's name. He was terrific. He was attentive but never intrusive. He smiled, showed some personality and was genuinely interested in making our evening as pleasant as possible. The food was very good. Everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the lamb and had to ask the waiter if the couscous was meant to be served cold. It was and that was ok but I found it a little odd. We had a good evening. I have been to Museum Tavern before and thought my friends would enjoy it. They did and I believe they will be returning.

I always take my closest friends to MT. Firstly, I love, adore, dream of the Lobster Roll as I'm a Gal who grew in Nova Scotia and think the lobster roll is the best in town this side of the Maritimes. Other friends have eaten many other items from the menu and all say it's wonderful - because it is. Service is fabulous and I don't say that about many restaurants. So I am a huge fan of MT and will continue to go there every chance I get. Gail Goldman

We will be back! Wonderful atmosphere...feels like a welcoming mix of "neighbourhood pub" and elegant dining. Excellent service from very genuine staff, and fantastic food.

If you're planning to eat here before a show at Koerner Hall - don't. We arrived at 6:45 and didn't get our food until 7:30. We had to wolf our meals down and race across the street to make the show at 8:00. Food was average and the restaurant, though attractive, was incredibly noisy. I doubt we'll return.

Well, it's a favorite place. I go there when I am on my way to a concert at Koerner or Walter Hall, but I went a few times to impress Japanese visitors. I like sitting at the bar and sharing appetizers. Neither of those things happened last time. It was still okay.

Disappointed that the game sausages are no longer a meal offered (now an appetizer)...they were my husband and son.in.laws favorite item on the menu. Please consider reintroducing them so we can come back!

I think our order was forgotten. It was 30 minutes+. No offer to compensate. The food however was very good. Loved the tofu burger and the fries were great. Server was attentive despite the slow arrival of food

This was my sixth visit. The staff has never been anything less than delightful and competent, and the room is gorgeous and inviting, particularly to those of us who remember its past as Pho Hung. I love salt, and I love high calorie food, but I think the food is consistently over seasoned, and the portions of vegetables very small. I ordered a very nice duck confit (extremely well prepared), but there were hardly any brussels sprouts, and they were, err, over caramelized. The other dishes I've had were likewise very heavy on the salt and light on greens. It's the best restaurant in the vicinity, but I'd suggest asking for less salt. Museum Tavern, may I suggest offering sides of extra vegetables?
