Great Food, Beautifull new setting, poor service
recently I visited Oliver & Bonacini for a special occasion. There were six of us. It is a beautiful restaurant, very classy and not too expensive considering the restaurants they own in Toronto. The food was very good; everyone was impressed. I must say that the other five people I went with had good service, I was not so lucky. My appetiser did not show up with the others, then my meal was missed, and since I was picking up the tab my friends and family chose to wait for me to get my meal ten minutes later before eating. The manager did come and apologise, but I guess I was expecting her to make it up to me some how, even in a small way like not charging me for my starter - considering I was picking up a $200 bill. I've had nothing but great experiences at their other restaurants and was disappointed with the service on this night.

Whats a Cappuccino?
well my cappuccino was missing the coffee part - that's right - there was no coffee - only frothed milk. why i didn't say anything? ... I must say their decor is great and that outdoor patio is quite amazing. the waiter and waitress that both checked up on us were great as well. definitely worth checking out.
