AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. I ordered $62.78 for delivery from Piazzetta Trattoria via a food service. After 45 minutes, the delivery service called and apologized because Piazzetta never entered the order. They were at the restaurant and would wait until the order was made. Then the driver had to call again and say Piazzetta would not fulfill the order because now they were to busy. The order was for my children who waited over an hour only to be told that they would not be getting their dinner.

    Amazing food

I'm not sure what these other people are talking about because I think this place is amazing. They have three locations now, and as a loyal customer, I have visited all of them. Each atmosphere is a little different, the most recent addition at Yonge/Eglinton (Piazzetta #3) is the nicest. More importantly, the food is consistently amazing, not to mention inexpensive. My guests and I have never been disappointed. The pastas are always fresh and the pizzas are always perfectly thin and remind me so much of my trip to Italy. My favourites are the Calamari, Penne Primavera and Arugala Salad. But I also love the funghi pizza (which ALWAYS has lots of mushrooms). My partner loves the grilled salmon and veal chop entrees. Everything I've ordered has always been fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend!

    Piazzetta Trattoria 3

Do not eat at Piazetta Trattoria! Ordered the Funghi (mushroom) pizza at lunch hour, and I was the ONLY person in the restaurant...... had only 4 slices of mushroom on the entire pizza! Could not get the attention of anyone who worked there, was not asked how my meal was. After 40 minutes the waitress came by, and after being informed that I really didn't want to complain, but I wasn't too happy about a mushroom pizza (of which I left half of it on the plate) having no mushrooms, she shrugged and walked away. I believe that she told the manager and cook who were eating together at the back of the restaurant, who briefly looked up and then immediately looked down. I immediately had the remainder of my un-eaten pizza taken away and disregarded, and the bill left on my table. Poor service, sub-par food, bland crust and lack of toppings..... there are several other Italian restaurants that far surpass this one within one block. Don't bother!

    Not very good

We visited this restaurant because of a very well priced 'groupon'; however we did not show our waiter the groupon until time to pay, so I unfortunately cannot attribute her lack of professionalism to that. We began by purchasing a pitcher of beer. The pitcher of Mill Street Organic that was poured for us tasted off - slightly warm and flat. When I asked for a pitcher of something else, she tasted the beer that she had poured us and claimed that Mill Street Organic should taste like that. I was familiar with that beer, so I knew she was wrong and insisted for another pitcher, to which she begrudgingly caved. The food was OKAY. Appetizers were tasty (Beef carpaccio and calamari). One pasta dish was described as having pieces of veal in it. When it arrived, the veal was tasteless and extremely chewy, like cartilage. My veal with creamy porcini sauce was lukewarm and fairly bland - I could taste no porcini. The ossobuco was fairly tasty. The pizzas were fairly good as well. All in all, I wouldn't recommend this place.
