We came there for...

We came there for a birthday celebration and we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered pizza, wings, a quesadilla and a wrap. The pizza was tiny and soggy and was falling apart. The wings were supposed to be one mild and one medium but none of them had any flavor. The quesadilla was embarrassing; it was burnt and falling apart, the smallest quesadilla I've ever seen and the lettuce inside was rotten. The wrap was the only decent thing we got. For a high priced restaurant we were extremely disappointed and will not return.

Best Indian Food in Toronto

I am addicted to Indian food. I've been to just about every Indian restaurant in T.O. Without reservation ( pardon the pun ) I can say that this place is at the top of my list. Not only is the food fantastic but the price is an unbelievable 10 dollars for lunch and 12 for dinner. ALL YOU CAN EAT. You can order specialty dishes from the kitchen but the buffet has so many selections that you don't need to. Superb, fresh made naan and as many poppadums as you want are included in the price as well as desert. You just can't beat it. I discovered this place about 3 years ago and since then I have been going once a week, every week. No kidding, it's THAT good. Not once have I been disappointed. If you like butter chicken you'll die when you taste theirs.

we live in little india and have tried every restaurant more than once....the regency is the best and most consistent....i've also been to india and its the closest thing to being there...best naan on gerrard by far.....catered my wifes party as well and did a great job...one time we came on a saturday and they were literally locking the front door....they re opened, even after we insisted not to worry....made us an amazing meal in no time and were happy to do so....needless to say we took care of them and we have become friends!

Have been there several times and the food is...

Have been there several times and the food is always top-notch. The service is great (I don't find them too "in your face" as one other reviewer commented), the only missing element is a nicer interior. HOWEVER, it is clean and there is plenty of seating. Really, you go there for the food, not the decor. This is always my favourite place to eat in little India.
