I have been a faithful customer of the Big Carrot for decades and had nothing but praise for the store stuff and quality products they provide until recent.I thought it was a holistic place but they force their stuff to wear masks which are more than questionable in their purpose. On top of that the store refuse taking cash for payments which is discriminatory against people who dont have a credit card. Disgusting indeed. Big disappointment Big C.

I love everything about this store. Great products and always fresh and natural which is important to me. Plus I love stopping at the Juice Bar for a quality juice smoothie. The best.

yes the prices tend to be high - but the store has arguably the widest line of cruelty free and natural body care stuff in the whole GTA. Most staff care about their work, especially bodycare. Cashiers are awesome but I am a friendly guy so get along with cashiers in every store. Vitamins are pricey too but staff is very knowledgeable. Turkey and chicken backs for soup; only store in the T-dot with organic, and not pricey (the rest of the meat and poultry is quite costly).

Stay far away from this place.the price mark up is way too high. The manager is always watching you because as she put it 'many people steal from them'. If you can't walk around with prepared food they sell to you why bothering selling it. A totally aggravating expensive shopping experience.just what you want at the end of the day.

After the shoppin...

After the shopping, I bought a 10cents bag to carry the things I bought . The cashier gave me a stained dirty paper bag and it broke in the bus. What a useless bag and the cashier, a trainee boy ? who looked quite bored obviously not loving the job he was doing. I only bought some cheese and ham and a pound of meet, not heavy items at all. Healthy Planet offers much better service.

This is never a pleasant experience. We do encourage customers to bring their own bags and our 10 cent bags are for those occasions when we forget. We will however continue to work on providing better quality carry out bags.
