AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FAST...

AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A FAST MEAL. We thought it would be a good idea to pop into this place for a quick bite to eat before a concert at the ACC. The servers were slow, unresponsive, dismissive and rude. It took them over an hour to bring us water, nachos and chicken fingers - and they were NOT operating at full capacity that night. When we gave up trying to find the server that was supposed to be helping us, we flagged down another server to check on the status of our order, he was VERY rude and basically implied that it wasn't his problem. When we finally did get our food, our server did not offer an explanation or apology for the wait. Needless to say, none of the 7 people in my party will be returning.

Looks like a fun place to eat, but it's not really

Had an hour to spare before a Leaf's game and popped in for a quick bite - first mistake. Nothing at this place is quick. The food was okay, nothing great and certainly nothing to make me want to return and try other items on the menu. Antijitos were tasty though - good start to the meal! One person in our party didn't receive his steak - apparently the server forgot to order it... The steak finally arrived when the rest of us were almost finished eating - it's never comfortable eating while one person is still waiting. The servers are clearly hired for how much beauty they can contribute. Certainly not for their customer service or their intelligence. In the end, our meal was discounted - because of the late steak - so at least they're aware and admit there was a problem. That alone is often enough to transform a frustrating experience into something better. If you're going, order an extra beer and enjoy the tunes. You're gonna be there a while.... Evening wasn't a total loss - Leaf's slammed the Sabres, 7 to 4!

first of all the service was terrible. Our waitress was rude. The burgers were not even close to being cooked inside. We sent them back showing the server they were clearly not cooked she just gave us a very dirty look and took the plate and walked away. a while later the burgers returned still not cooked! The waitress didn't appologize or even tell us to have a good evening. I will definately never return and i will definately tell friends not to eat here. Absolutely horrible restaurant!

Where to catch the game in Toronto

Where to catch the game in Toronto

Anybody who wants to have access to both the big game and great live music will love this joint. It’s an independently owned staple of the downtown core, first opening its doors back in 1989. The upper level is where you will find all the TV screens, while the Antler Room downstairs features the live music, with a few big screens for watching the game. It’s just a stone’s throw away from the Air Canada Centre and the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Insider’s tip: Try the nachos, they’re massive.

Pre-and post-game party spots around the ACC in Toronto

Pre-and post-game party spots around the ACC in Toronto

Ah, the mecca of sports spectatorship in Toronto. The Loose Moose has carved itself a reputation as the absolute best spot for pre-game pep ups and post-game soothers (in the case of those oh-such-a-bummer losses) – but it’s also considered a mainstay for catching the televised version. That’s probably due to the super sweet vibes supplied by the eclectic décor, long communal tables, plenty of bar space to cozy up to, and a menu of upgraded pub classics. Oh, and it’s also got a cool 100 or so beer varieties on offer, and some unique cocktail options to boot.
