The Pickle Barrel

Terrible service. Worst ever. They took forever to give us a table, half of the tables in the restaurants were empty but they wouldn’t use them I don’t know why. There was a family with a little girl outside sitting on the floor, I mean, there is a waiting area but nobody told us about it. Even people who had reservation were waiting for a long time.Then they took forever (more than half an hour) to serve our food and when it finally came it was dry and cold and it wasn’t even what we ordered.

great meal

It was a great meal! My friends and I went for a birthday celebration and were a little anxious about going but it was fabolous!! the food was delicious, our server was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the menu (which is very impressive) epecially considering the length of the menu.

I just can't go back

Once a week the guys and I get together down town and have dinner and about 1/4 of the time we eat at the Pickle Barrel, mainly for convenience. I general could not rave about it but this last time was bad enough that even the other guys agreed that we will stop eating there all together. It started off with us being seated at a booth that required us to clean the bench ourselves then the beer order was wrong. It took us so long to find our waitress that we just decided not to make a fuss and ended up drinking the beer that was brought to us. What really toped everything off was the main meal, we all ordered different burgers with some grilled vegetables and salad. Every burger was undercooked to the point of being red on the inside and I even found the price code sticker for the vegetables mixed in with my food. As I said This was not my first experience with this restaurant. I feel I have given them ample opportunity but in the end I will always pass them over. There are now ample restaurants in the area to choose from and that's what we will do from now on, choose a different restaurant.
