A few friends and I were hungry and decided to stop into The Village Idiot pub for food.
The waitress came to our table without a smile on her face, she seemed extremely unenthusiastic, impatient, and generally cranky.
I asked her about a beer on the menu and she blatantly did not answer me, and simply waited for me to order the beer. My friends only wanted water to go with their meal, so they just asked her for water.
This sent her over the edge, she immediately made the comment, "Four people and one beer?!? okkkk......" rolled her eyes, and walked away from the table.
We immediately decided we would not be ordering food because of her comments and attitude. We felt extremely uncomfortable. When she came back to the table and asked us what we wanted I told her we would not be eating because of her service. She then reached across the table and took the water that she had just given to my friends!!!! She then left, got the bill, folded it, and threw it on the table!!!
She gave us no option to speak to the manager, and furthermore did not offer any explanation for her actions.
I will never go to this pub again, and I advise that you do the same!
