Worst experience EVER. We called ahead to specifically make sure that we wouldn't get a Swedish massage, but a deep tissue sports massage or shiatsu, and when we get there, the masseurs are only trained on Swedish. The receptionist was hard to communicate with and certainly didn't show any concern for the fact that we left half way through the massage, or apologize for misleading us. I received a 60 minute massage with Kisha, she was excellent, not to mention very friendly and informative. She made me feel comfortable during the whole treatment. The treatment itself was amazing, I have never felt better! She got all the right spots. Definitely looking forward to another massage at YMT!

Recently, I've been experiencing a lot of pain in my neck, and decided to book an appointment with Stephanie. She's very thorough; she asked me exactly what I wanted to receive and focused on truly fixing the problem. The next day I had significantly less neck pain. This massage definitely provided results. Not only did I feel better, everyone was friendly and accommodating, as well.
I will definitely be heading back soon!

Yorkville Massage Therapy is a great place to receive a massage! There are many therapists who specialize in various types of massages so you are able to receive the best massage for you. My therapist what Liliana Cozma, and she was fantastic. She knew where all of my tight spots were and throughout the whole massage she made me feel very comfortable. On top of the massage I received being great the staff was also very kind and the atmosphere of the clinic was relaxing. I would definitely recommend YMT to anyone!
I got a massage from Ming today and he was amazing. I asked him to focus on my back because I'm a student and therefore develop a lot of tension around my neck. At the end of the massage I felt so much better. He loosened all my knots and released all the stress in my neck and upper back. He listened to my concerns and knew exactly what to do. I was extremely happy at the end of my appointment.
It is a fantastic massage clinic. The atmosphere is calming and the staff is friendly and extremely helpful. They have a great range of registered massage therapists who specialize in different aspects of massage therapy. I would highly recommend Tinika Coleman. She makes you feel very comfortable and knows the body's anatomy. She found all my pressure points and knew exactly what to do to relive the stress off my upper back.
Overall, its a great massage clinic and I would definitely come back!
I had a warm stone massage with Sandra. At first I was a little surprised because she laid a towel on my back before laying down the hot stones, while whenever I've seen photos the stones are laid directly on the spine. However, pretty quickly I could feel the heat through the towel. I've had a heat-therapy massage before where the heat pads were unbearable hot, so the towel turned out to be a good solution. The stones were used to massage my limbs and body, and although it was comforting and relaxing, it was a very light massage and I prefer something more intensive. The spa itself was bright and clean, and there was tea at reception; however I could hear someone rummaging around by the door throughout my massage.
