An amazing experience. I took everything I was concerned might get damaged and made sure that it was properly packed and transported myself. Otherwise, the rates were competitive and my experience was phenomenal. Can't complain about a single thing.
BEWARE - they may break something expensive and not cover the damage. My $800 flat-screen TV suffered compression damage during the move, most likely because it was not handled properly. Their contract specifically excludes a long list of items from liability. What this means is that if THEY break it, YOU are on the hook for it. Be VERY careful before entrusting your expensive items to this firm -- it may cost you!

This is without a doubt the worst moving company Ive ever hired. Im going to just state facts in point form. To summarize, in case you dont want to read this: There were thousands of dollars of damage done, they were slow and sloppy, they didnt work hard, and only responded to my damages claim after 3 emails a couple weeks apart and the threat of a lawsuit.
I had quite a bit of damage to my furniture. A few pieces were repaired, but I was told that the damage to my dresser was too small to take to their carpenter. This was very upsetting because it was in perfect condition and now has a nice chip in the corner of one of the drawers. The damage wasn’t small to me. I even got blamed for some of the damage. Very upsetting experience.
YFCV provided a quote for our office move that was virtually bang-on. It actually ended up costing a little less than expected. Although arriving late due to traffic, they called well in advance to apprise me of the situation.
They worked through the evening to move our office, as near as I could tell taking no breaks until the job was done. The four movers were cooperative and accommodating, despite several obstacles.
I will definitely be calling YFCV should we require a mover again, and I would recommend their services to anyone else.
