Fair at Best
The first time we went to Ristorante Gravina, the pizza was fabulous and the rigatoni was great. Both kinds of calamari were chewy, though, and the cappuccino was not good at all. On our second visit, the pizza was soggy, the calamari was good, and the rigatoni was great again. In a word: inconsistent. The service was very slow both times. Thankfully, it was courteous. The ambiance is elegant and simple, but the noise level (due mainly to echoes, as there were only a few people in the restaurant besides us) is ridiculous. They need to put up some tapestries or paintings on the walls - something to dampen the noise. Would I recommend this restaurant? Not until some key improvements are made.
