After a long day of shopping, Vinnie Zucchini's was conveniently located beside Vaughan Mills. The buffet offered lots of options and the choices were healthy and tasted delicious. The service was great too. Thank you Vinnie's staff. Heather, Reliable Mechanical Services Inc.
Week nights: The quality, variety, and quantity of their food items is extensive and second to none. If you think that the quality of the food at a typical order&wait Italian restaurant is greater then you`re sadly mistaken. There they work less, and charge more. Vinnie Zucchini's has some food items that you won`t find at any other place! Plus lots of fresh fruit, and fresh salad. Go have some fresh fruit at Grazie!

I finally found the NEW Vinnie Zucchini's...they moved from Dufferin and Steeles and are now in the Vaughan Mills complex. Right at the S/W corner of Jane and Rutherford. It was easy to find. I've eaten at alot of Italian restaurants and some are very upscale. I have to say in all honesty that those restaurants have nothing on Vinnie Zucchini's. This place was truly amazing. We had a great night enjoying Italian music. The servers were excellent and catered to our every need and I couldn't believe the food. I wasn't expecting it to be so good. The Pizza was gourmet delicious, I had excellent calamari and grilled lamb. Just the pasta alone was worth the low price we paid of $19.99 per adult, and my son who is 10 was half price and I've never seen him enjoy a meal sooo much. He loved the Lasagna and had two helpings of it. Even the dessert was great, they had this delicious chocolate cake and some flaky pastries that they told me were imported from Italy with ricotta cheese in them. I highly recommend this place. It's a Gem.
Vinnie Zucchini's moved here a few years ago. They where over on Shapperd Ave. but are now at the south west corner of Jane and Rutherford (9100 Jane Street) in the Vaughan Mills complex. The price is resonable and the food, even though not great, it is good and lots of it..
Plus, unlike some buffets I have been to, they don't try to shove you out the door after an hour.
Yes that`s true about their fried calamari or cuttlefish, both salty and uncut. Their veal or chicken breast cutlets are overly breaded, but otherwise tasty. As for their forever present `seafood gnocchi`, they can eat those themselves.
Finally, when the place has too many parties booked on the same Sunday, the front desk may detain the other patrons from entering the dining area until all of their guests have arrived. So that the party guests will be first around the food stations.
Food was absolutely delicious but the selection for the buffet it limited, especially for those who do not eat certain meats. The food was mostly beef and pork but the foods were very delicious, the cooks seemed friendly and are definitely talented!
I must say I was pre-warned and as such I take full responsibility for this awful experience. A coworker of mine had a baby shower at the Vaughan Mills location and HATED the food. Thinking that she was probably exaggerating being an Italian herself and knowing the taste of great homemade Italian food, I figured I'd give it a shot. The selections were few and far between, the pasta was under cooked, the roasted potatoes were undercooked, the sausage was hard and dry, the calamari was so salty my tongue burned, the best piece of food I placed in my mouth all night was a piece of melon from the fruit bar, and I'm guessing that is because they could not screw that up. I must say even as a buffet it is not worth the visit or your money being wasted.

Everything was EXCEPTIONAL! The new place near Vaughan Mills Mall was very wonderful. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and the place was VERY beautiful. What else is there to want?
Wow, I didn't think Vinnie Zucchinis could get any better... but it did! They closed down the old Vinnies and opened up a new one across from Vaughn Mills Mall, and wow! This place is just amazing.. So clean, so cozy.. the food was amazing, I was soo impressed! I couldn't stop eating! Delicious pizza, better than any restaurant pizza i've had! I am planning on going back for my birthday, I loved it so much! Great job, and congratz on the new place!
Wow, they opened a new Vinnie Zucchini's in Vaughn, Tuscany Pl.. (across from Vaughn Mills Mall) AND WOW! The food was excellent! Such a step forward from the previous location. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is stunning, and the food was DELICIOUS! Yumm.. I can't wait to go back.. If you love buffets, you won't be dissapointed!

I like good food and this is the place where you can have a variety of dishes. Italian pasta, at least 6 different types, fish, frutti di mare,superb italian sausages and crab cakes,grilled vegetables,risotto, fantastic salad bar with black, green and staffed olives...
Deserts are not as great as the food but one cannot have everything...You can also have fruits and be happy.I forgot to mention that there is also a pizza and bruscchetta station - just yummy, perfect dough and toppings. Do not expect cotton tabelclothes... This is a place where children and parents are simply very comfortable so who cares about a piece of fabric:)and few spills...
If you want to have a very decent meal and spend only$20 - Vinnie is the right place.

Food was just okay. We found Vinnie Zucchini's to be overpriced for the quality of the food. The atmosphere was a bit cafeteria like and we were not very impressed with our service. There was a great deal of selection but nothing really that amazing other than the desserts.
