Great little place, shame about the food

I've been here several times for the beer and live music, which are always great, but I'd never eaten anything but wings here before. Last night we decided to come for dinner [no music Wednesdays :(], and sadly we were disappointed. I had the burger which was way overcooked (dry inside, crispy outside) with meager toppings and a cold, white , inedible bun. My wife and b-in-law had the bangers and mash, which came with no veggies at all; they said the sausage was not very good. My s-in-law had fish & chips which she did enjoy. We both had the Chocolate Guiness lava cake for dessert, which looked nothing like the photo on the menu and was just a small piece of chocolate cake with some chocolate sauce drizzled on it. The Guiness was perfect as usual, and we love the atmosphere of Failte's, but the substandard food and barely adequate service (the waitress seemed quite disinterested) spoiled what should have been a good night out. We'll be back, but just for the pints and live music.

Small but cozy! Amazing live music, very friendly staff and fantastic Pub atmosphere. Food is tasty and of generous proportions. I would recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable evening.

Smallish Irish Pub with Same Menu as Molly Bloom's

Beer was not quite cold enough for me, but I don't know if that was because of the heat wave. Bar is small, with small dining area as well. In contrast, portions on my fish and chips were huge--two large haddock fillets and a very large mound of tasty chips. Easily enough for two people. Breakfast was also good--tasty sausage, eggs, beans and toast. Look forward to music and colder beer...

Great live music, a pub atmosphere that can't be...

Great live music, a pub atmosphere that can't be beat, and some very good, very spicy wings. Our waiter was kind and quick and understood why we were there - to have some drinks and munch on wings. It's not a big place, but it seems to have the right idea with the space available.

Love it!

I love this pub! We ordered the 'big' poutine, it was amazing! I can't believe no one has reviewed this place! Ceasar Sunday's are a brilliant idea, and the music was fantastic!
