Nail World

Love these women that work here. They care about their customers, they are incredibly clean and friendly. Only typically too busy on Saturdays, but otherwise they are always trying to please the clients and keep them as regulars. I live in Amherstburg and drive all the way out there just to go to the Nail World.

Horrible experience. I walked in asking for acrylic coffin nails. The tech talked me into gel.......but then proceeded to use an acrylic powder that they label gel? That is NOT a builder gel. Gel NEVER comes in powder form, and it has to be cured with a lamp which my nails were not they dried like acrylic does. So they lied straight to my face and charged me extra for the gel. Went for shellac manicure, called to see if available, but when I sat down they were trying to multitask One was going back in forth. After 45 min wait my turn came. My corner it was clearly visible and I have to ask to finish properly!! But they really didn't care at all!!! Poor service and will never go back

BAD SERVICE!!!

I wonted to try them out and I did but I wish I read review first.Comunication is issue but I wanted French manicure and gel fill and didn't have my glasses with me it turned awful that was on Feb -22 cost $25 plus tip went back on Monday Feb. 24 bad again old nail polish everyone told me it looks like I did it myself so couldn't go on Feb 25 but went back on Feb 28 and left them message that I will be coming on that day .This time by owner she decided to cut my own nails and put fake plus made me soak in acetone over 1 hour didn't ask for any of that but she wanted to charge me $33 week after I payee $25 all misunderstanding .I do not recommend this place!

Not going back

Had a horrible experience at this nail salon! I wanted a manicure with a design and I was very clear that I wanted a simply flower on my ring finger in black; I must have repeated it several time that I like simple design. When she was done with the design on one hand, she had done some wispy design that had ¾ of my nail in black. I told her right away that I didn’t like it and it was nothing that I had asked for. She actually started putting things away and telling me that everything was okay and was ready to walk me over to the cash register. I didn’t move and reminder her that I had a design on one finger and another design on the other finger and I wanted her to fix the finger with all the black. She got upset and started throwing around her stuff and told me that I had to live with it b/c she wouldn’t fix it. Finally after telling her that I didn’t care that she was upset and that I wanted my nail fix, did the manager come over and took some of the black off my nail. I left unbelievable upset and I told them that I would never come back. The girl next to me who was going to have a design on her nails changed her mind once she saw how that one worker was acting. Don’t go to this salon!!! They do what they want and expect you to take it.
