Great dishes and drinks and good service
Not only it has a great atmosphere, Baton Rouge is known to provide good service with the best steak that one can find within Montreal. If you're new to the area, you must go to Baton Rouge to try out their steaks. *Note, although it's within Complexe Desjardins, it's possible for anyone with any walking problem to get to this Baton Rouge without having to go through the stairs, just call them and ask.
Best ribs I've ever tasted. Their sauce is unique and the ribs are cooked pretty much perfectly: fall off-the bone and succulent. Everywhere else I try ribs now I can't help but be disappointed because they're not Baton Rouge ribs. I introduced this place to my girlfriend and she has it every time she has the chance now :) They also make great steak, but I only know that from word-of-mouth because I always go for the ribs! The Caesar salad is one of the best I've had and comes with a small piece of bread with cheese melted on top. The fries are great (thin, salty), but I would recommend the loaded baked potato because it comes with the works (sour cream, green onion, cheese, bacon bits). The skin of the baked potato is slightly salted as well for flavor. Baton Rouge is a great place to go on Valentine's Day because the place is very romantic. It's dimly lit, almost like having a candle-lit dinner. The only bad thing I can say is the cost of the supper. The single plate of ribs is a bit too much so now I go for the baby back ribs & chicken combo. They make the chicken with the same sauce as the ribs. For some reason the ribs taste better in Montreal than Toronto, Ottawa, and anywhere we've tried but they're still very good.
