Meet the owner

Often, our travels allow us to discover idyllic places, new cultures and people from all backgrounds. Sometimes, they also allow us to discover our vocation in life and radically change our lives.

This was the case for Christine Lamarche, co-owner of Brasserie T!. During a trip to France with her mother more than 21 years ago, Christine discovered a true passion for food and decided to make a career in the restaurant world.

It would appear that visiting vineyards and starred restaurants during her travels lit a small fuse in her that was just waiting for the right opportunity to be ignited. And, since that time, it is still burning with the same vigour, which allows Christine to achieve her goals.

Original and Fun

From the same people responsible for the success of 'Toqué'. Very small but with lots of atmosphere. Typical French Brasserie menu. Food and service were both excellent. Call ahead, can be difficult to get reservations.

Chef-owner Normand Laprise, of restaurant Toqué fame, opened Brasserie T! in 2010. Located on the Place des Festivals, the establishment not only has a splendid view overlooking the site, but a menu that does not disappoint. It offers typical brasserie/tavern-style dishes including tartares, charcuterie, flank steak and even more!

Renowned for its culinary elegance and finesse, Toqué! has expanded its expertise into an all-new concept that is just as appetizing, but accessible for all budgets: Brasserie T! The menu that overflows with tempting little morsels such as tartars, "gratin dauphinois", "saucisson en brioche" and devilled eggs, and the décor is nothing less than ultra-design. Would its location, just below the Musée d'art contemporain, have anything to do with it? Whatever the inspiration, the location and the food both promise to delight.
