“If our shop were to be on the street level, we wouldn’t be able to support the demand,” says Jean-Pierre Lachance, co-owner of iRepair MTL. Inspired since it’s earliest days to develop an in-house laboratory, iRepair MTL has grown into a full service rescue agency offering world-class expertise on Apple and other mobile devices, extensive support and customization options for the personal and corporate 2.0 life.

JP is in charge of iRepairMTL’s communications, and readily shares a vision and the chronicles from the inside of the mobile device repair world. He explains how iRepair has devised solutions for a longstanding need of quality and trustworthy service.

“iRepair’s strength is that we are skilled at diagnosis, troubleshooting,” says JP. “Therefore we do our best to eliminate surprises. This means that once they’ve booked their appointment, we usually tell people that we can fix their device within 24 hours, though there are some repairs that need a bit more time. And when we fix your phone, we guarantee it for three months.”

The challenge of mobile repair services, notably for Apple, is that original replacement pieces are hard to come by. “Our founder William Daigle travels to China every year to meet with our suppliers there,” JP says.

iRepair MTL circumvents the problems people encounter at other repair counters. “Too often other shops’ approach is improvisation,” says JP. “Also what can happen is that original parts can be stolen from inside your phone and replaced with cheaper copies.”
