Meet the owner

When the idea to transform an old fire station into a huge restaurant dining room came up, no one suspected that the end result would be so impressive. It must be said, however, that the imposing building located at the corner of Rachel and Midway streets has what it takes to become the host of a large-scale eatery.

Residents of this little corner of Rosemont, which is highly residential and sorely lacking good restaurants, are now being served at Labarake. In fact, this district that once housed the former Angus shops is ironically beginning to take on that 'Angus' flavour.
