A Gem

Morty's Steakhouse is truly a gem. I live in New York, but always look forward to visiting Montreal and going to Mortys. Their food is delicious and the setting is great. I recommend Morty's to everyone I know. The steaks are out of this world and they also have a wide selection of Fresh fish, chicken and other dishes for those who don't enjoy steaks. Their salads are also great, especially the Thai salad and the Portobello salad. Leave room for dessert because they are truly amazing. The service is also very warm and hospitable. Good job Morty!

My experience at Morty's Steakhouse has always been positive. The food is always well presented and tasty. Great ambience and decor, good service and a wonderful host complement this. Their steaks are out of this world! Wow! So tender and juicy. I also have tried their other dishes, such as Boeuf Bourgignon and Osso Bucco and they are both delicious. Huuuuge portions too! I don't even eat Kosher and I prefer Mortys over other steakhouses.

Mortys is Montreal's best Kosher restaurant!

Mortys is one of the top Kosher restaurants in Montreal, probably in Canada and competes with other big Kosher steakhouses from New York, Miami and LA. I visit this restaurant all the time. The food is out of this world. They age their steaks from about 1 month and it's so soft and tender. They also have a great wine list, some tasty desserts, amazing appetizers and a great vibe. They play really great music too. Service is always impeccable! I read another review that said they had bad service from Serge and i'm really surprised because Serge ALWAYS goes out of his way to make our experience at Mortys positive and fun. Morty is also such a great host, he comes a few times to check on us, make sure everything is good. I think once a steak was a little overcooked, he took it right back, and brought us a new steak right away. Now that's service. I wish there were other great Kosher restaurants like Mortys. I go there at least 2-3 times a month with my family and we always have a great experience. Oh, if you want to really experience a great steak, try either the Queen Cut Ribeye or the Lou's Cut (32 oz!!!!). Enjoy!
