Associated producer: Cassis Monna & filles - This restaurant is aptly named: a few months after its opening, it won honours just about everywhere. The combination of Émile Tremblay in the kitchen and the products from Monna Sisters will certainly have people talking. On the menu: chicken livers and maderized blackcurrant, braised lamb croquette, white wine mousse and blackcurrant meringue.
Restaurant Légende, offered by La Tanière – the latter being a CAA/AAA 5 diamond restaurant in St. Augustin - has succeeded in carving out a place in the market of fine restaurants in Quebec City. Chef Frédéric Plante is known for offering an original gourmet menu - and his lunch menu is no exception. The restaurant offers fish, meat, pasta or even a salad made with local produce. The prices vary between $20 and $25, including an appetizer and a main course.
Légende was opened by the team behind La Tanière and touted by En Route magazine as being one of the best new restaurants in Canada. In this rue Saint-Paul bistro, the chef and his team are inspired by ancestral cuisine as they create refined dishes.
