Big Fish is our favourite brunch place, great service and amazing food everytime!

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Our server was very attentive with a great personality, explained the menu clearly and easily answered all our questions. Food was very tasty and good sized portions.

Our favourite neighbourhood place. My friend and I enjoyed delicious omelettes as we sat next to the glowing fireplace this past Sunday. You never disappoint.

Absolutely fantastic service and the best meal I’ve had in a while. The mussels can’t be beat. I highly recommend this place!

Great food, friendly service, what more could you ask

First time visiting this restaurant. Came highly recommended so visited on New Year's Eve. It didn't disappoint. Nice to have a choice between seafood and meat menus. I had the Bison short ribs which were excellent. My wife and the bowl of clam chowder and fish and chips. Loved the chowder. Definitely will return.

We were a group of four female friends who hadn't seen each other in quite some time. Big Fish & Open Range was a perfect spot. It's not a big place, so is really nice and cozy. The service was outstanding and with it being a smaller restaurant, this is one of the reasons the service is so good. The server was very attentive, yet not overbearing whatsoever; she left us alone to visit with very few interruptions. All the staff were very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant for brunch.

I never review things but had to for Big Fish, literally the best meal I’ve ever had. Great wine and service. Love it !

Have always loved Big Fish - the larger menu now (with Open Range too) and the small renovation touches make it even better. There was one amazing waiter who handled the whole room and he was awesome!

This is the best kept secret in Calgary. The food is reasonably priced. The servers are marvellous at what they do, and make you feel at home. The quality of the food, and the depth of the menu will keep us coming back for a very long time.

My boyfriend and I had a celebratory dinner here at Big Fish and Open Range yesterday. Our server Sam was absolutely amazing, sweet and hospitable She gave us great recommendations on both menus. I got the arctic char and my boyfriend had the bison short ribs. We shared a seafood platter and a lobster tail as well! Everything was super flavourful and fresh and delicious. I literally couldn’t pick a favourite part. We ate our heart out and we will DEFINITELY be back!

Big Fish is one of our favorite places to go! It’s consistent and tasty! Staff is always friendly and knowledgeable about the food and beverages offered!

With so many restaurants struggling to find their groove post covid, Big Fish is an oasis of perfection in a sea of mediocre. Professional wait staff, beautiful plates, and and eclectic mix of patrons made our visit complete. Little details are obviously thoughtfully considered, and we felt welcomed and attended to with minimal fuss or pretention. There is something for everyone on the menu, making this restaurant our most favourite place. We will be back, and we will tell our friends.

An excellent meal and experience as always . We stayed for 3 hours catching up and it was very quiet - appreciated the good service and excellent food as a favourite place to meet.

One of the best meals and service I've had in a long lifetime:) Service by Crystal was so attentive. Never had to wait to be addressed. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the taste was so delicious. Even my very picky friend enjoyed it! Will be back!

I will never ever forget the mussels.. Absolutely superb! Highly highly recommend! You just will not go wrong dining here.
