Absolutely THE BEST meal I have had in many years-A foodie at heart with Italian blood, Mercato did not disappoint!We very much enjoyed sitting at the high top table facing the open concept kitchen which allows for an up close and personal intimate food experience.The food was the star of the show.Caprese salad,pasta special-bucatini with prawns,and lets just give their in house made chili oil a round of applause,3rd course was the bistecca-to die for, cheesecake & tiramisu to dessert-Phenomenal

We went to Mercato for my husband's birthday and the service and atmosphere were incredible. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the open kitchen and being able to watch our food cook. It was quite pricey but you get what you pay for! We will definitely be back for future special occasions. Highly recommend!

Our server was a great host and the food was next level as usual. Mercato is one of our favorite restaurants in Calgary for a couples dinner - it is always cozy and the food is prepared with extra care. We love watching the chefs prepare their creations, so we try to snag a seat close to the bar. Thank you for the all-around great dinner experience Mercato staff!

We had great service at our last visit to Mercato. An excellent environment to experience a truly authentic Italian meal. The service was excellent. In addition we love to eat at the bar and watch the chefs interact with each other. Definitely will be back soon!

The food is amazing!

Mercato is my favourite restaurant in Calgary, in Canada and I’ve travelled to many parts of the world and it’s my #1 favourite still! Service is always excellent and the food is delicious. Fresh pasta, a good cut of beef cooked to perfection as the bistecca and a nice wine make for the best meal.
