And that goes whether you're at the surrounding Italian style counter, or your own personal table. Everything you order here is made fresh, using ingredients from our market. The open kitchen atmosphere (with our big Italian stoves front and centre) is loud and vibrant.When you dine at Mercato, interaction with our chefs and other customers is as common as the bread and oil you'll find at your table. I had the worst experience today. Ordered a dish and did not like it at all, had one bite only. Paid full amount. Poor hospitality. No one followed up with me as I sat with the family and had no dinner. The dish was not well prepared by chef. I did not expect this from a restaurant like this. Seriously when you are with family and experience something like this it's not good. Greatly disappointed !

been a regular customer over the last few years and last night was exceptional. Great wine, food was cooked to perfection and delicious. West coast mussels were amazing!!! Peter and Franca have done a great job providing table separation with barriers but not making it feel like isolation. Greg and Petar always take good care of us and last night was no exception. Congratulations to Ashley and thanks for the Amaretto.

Dinner at Mercato during Covid was a fabulous experience. They have glass partitions to separate tables without seeming unfriendly and closed off. Cutlery was wrapped for your protection and everything was spotless. Francois was our server and couldn’t have been more knowledgeable and charming. Food was amazing as always!

We had a wonderful dinner experience on a special occasion. Firstly, they had the best COVID measures in place we have seen since the pandemic began. We felt very comfortable and were appreciative. The menu choice were great, the food fantastic and service impeccable. We loved the new experience of order family size dishes served in bowls and then we took what we wanted to our plates. Very homey. Impeccably clean and while a modern style restaurant, it still had the ambiance of Olde Italy.
