We came in for work touch point team building, we laughed and shared many memories that afternoon the food, and customer service exceeded all expectations and the mimosa tower was the icing on the cake!

Our server was amazing! It was a great evening listening to live music in a COVID-friendly environment. Felt very comfortable.

Everything was amazing, the server quickly changes our table as well for a better view. Really good drinks. Although the live dj music was kinda low but i guess that’s what the vibe is, people can talk. Definitely recommend!!

Excellent all around. We left a message saying we were coming for our anniversary and were given a lovely table. Our kids loved it!

Great atmosphere, very good service, Serve a good Guinness and gave good advice on the wine. We had the set News Years Eve meal, just the right amount to share and we enjoy all the courses served. We always enjoy our visits to the Bard and Banker.

Gave 3 stars to atmosphere because we were stuck in a corner with nothing to look at... but it's a beautiful building.

Went for a Christmas eve 6-course dinner. Absolutely fabulous service & food! Will be keeping my eye out for any future set menus at Bard & Banker! Thank you for making our Christmas dinner so special.

Our server was amazing! Super quick and super friendly!

We had requested seats in one of their "snug" areas and this request was honoured. The setting was very private. Our waitress was very polite and efficient. The food arrived in good time and was delicious. A lovely dining experience.

The biggest complaint from the four of us was NO sticky toffee pudding for dessert! Please put it back on your menu!

Amazing food, service and ambiance. This way s definitely our go to place every time we visit Victoria! We just finished moving our son here, so we hope to visit much more after Covid!

Appetizers were excellent and burger delicious. Bread for chicken salad sandwich was a bit dry and chewy, but the filling was really tasty. Great service, atmosphere and live entertainment! An evening at the Bard and Banker has never been disappointing.

the new dressing for the house salad is really delicious and FRESH DJ Bellyfish is the best Thursdays and my server was very accommodating and kind with my very late arrival (and replacement guest)

Cody was our server and he was very good! The food was tasty but would have been better if cooked longer ie the fish and chips were quite under. Overall we had a great time. :)

Inattentive waitress - had to be asked twice for items

I love every thing about this pub, it has been my favorite till last night I figured out they change their menus and apparently my favorite wine is not there anymore, so! With a broken heart I must say Not gonna go there!!!

It was an outstanding evening for our friends! “Cleopatra” was our server and she provided us all amazing service! The ambience was also excellent and the Food was fabulous

Great decor and lighting. The atmosphere was wonderful. The drinks were good. However, I would never eat there again. My husband had what the menu called a "club sandwich." It should have been called a chicken salad sandwich, or more apt, a mayonnaise sandwich. Mayonnaise was the predominant ingredient and taste. After two bites, my husband gave up and went without dinner. I ordered the beef dip. The menu said it came with red wine a jus. I wondered about that unusual ingredient but figured a touch of red wine might be tasty. It was not. So I ate the beef bun without the jus. Unfortunately, the bun was soggy with other sauces. Perhaps the restaurant could better describe the food items in the menu and ask the chef to go much lighter on sauce. A customer could ask that more sauce be added, but once the food is soggy it's too late to remove any.

Did not realize that B & B had started doing Music Bingo on Monday evenings. Made a bit of an extra challenge for a book group!

Live music was nice and great service.

Cody was the man! On top of drinks, joked and laughed with our girls, and made good recommendations for dinner when we asked. Food came out super fast, and the restaurant was pretty full already. Ask for Cody if you want the real deal.

The Host(ess) on the outdoor patio where we sat for apps and drinks went to great efforts to ensure we were well looked after and was very pleasant and friendly. We moved inside for dinner and loved the ambiance, the old world decor and lighting and the upbeat mood. Food was not 'special' but certainly was fine for a pub-restaurant. Had an excellent evening there.

Kenenth and I had our wedding party at Bard and Banker and we were blown away with how incredible our service was all night. Leah did an amazing job. She was serving 30+ people on her own. She was quick, and made sure everyone had food and drinks at all times. The food was absolutely amazing too. We ordered a cheese board and it had some of the best cheeses I’ve ever tasted. Thank you so much Leah for being a part of such a great evening! We will definitely be back. :)
