I am here monthly to enjoy group dinners with my special group. We have a great time here and the food is great. I often come here for the breakfast buffet and there is a wide variety of foods to choose from. I highly recommend their omelettes. Great staff and service for both the monthly dinners and the breakfast buffets.
I highly recommend the Muddy Duck. Have not had their fixed dinner buffets.
We have been many many times usually on Sunday between 10 to 12 noon. We have also taken friend family and talked to others to this relax place w good food natural juices fresh bread and pastries.also in our experience most of the stafff have been ready to accommodated us as we for most time didn't have reservation the place were full and we wanted the patio as iis our preference.Well they did work very hard w a nice smile Got the patio area for us.now we are taking a niece from chile.
Just ok. This place is really popular with the 65+ demographic. The food is nothing out of this world. I would never go out of my way to go here, but the experience was not awful.
Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner is all excellent here. A great place to go with a wide selection of quality food, great servers and a great atmosphere. A go-to family restaurant.
I've visited the Muddy Duck many times in the past and have never been dissapointed. The service, atmosphere and food are all excellent, and they are what keep me coming back.
First off, the brunch buffet is top notch. They offer all the typical breakfast stuff, but it's all top quality. The guy making the omelets is the best. He does a great job. And the fresh squeezed orange juice is great.
Most of the time I go for lunch/dinner, and the best thing on the menu is the beef dip sandwich. I haven't found one better yet, and i've tried many many beef dips. The au jus they serve with it is perfect, and the sandwhich itself is huge and filling. Throw in the huge fries and you got a perfect dish. The chicken sandwich is also great, as is the quarter pound burger. All in all, I haven't had anything I haven't liked here.
The desserts are also amazing. Great cakes and other goodies to choose from, and all are decadent and excellent.
The servers are all really nice and welcoming. The atmosphere inside and out is truely family friendly and cozy. It's unique, and great to see that they haven't changed it much, or at all, throughout the years.
I would definately recommend this fantastic restaurant to everybody. Bring your family, take a picture with the giant duck out front and go have a great meal!
My boyfriend and I love having breakfast at the Muddy Duck. The staff is friendly and the service is great. The choice of food is also great.
The only negative thing I would say is that the area for the breakfast buffet is quite small and if there are a lot of people there it can get quite congested.
UGH! SO DISAPPOINTED. we went on thursday night, place is pretty, nice atmosphere and very clean.
we ordered brushetta , which was HUGE for the price of $6.95 and really good but it was a giant let down from there.'
i ordered the steak, which was horrible. it was salty and i was unable to chew more than half of it, and brought the rest home in a napkin for the dogs. ( they didn't want to eat it either- which says a lot)
The ceasar salad was good.
hubby ordered ribs...they are BOILED and then brushed with some tomato soup based sauce-- watery and just nasty.
our server was perky and polite and very efficient. but we would not go back.... the food was worse than hospital / jail cafeteria food.. blech.
This is not my favourite place as I have always found it over priced, but my daughter likes one particular dish there. My husband and I ordered the Mediterranean Grill special they had that day. Supposed to come with three different types of fish..When it arrived I was shocked...pieces that were so small it was insulting. For $17.00 I basically got a baked potatoe and vegetables.
Another peeve, no drink refills...almost every restaurant that caters to families has this...what is it not part of menu..expensive Ice Tea is not the way to go..
This was my second time here.
I ordered a tilapia with a mango chutney, and I was very disappointed when it arrived. The portion of fish was an average size and looked okay, but the side was inexcusable-- exactly 3 thumb-sized pieces of broccoli, 2 slices of plastic-looking tomato and about 4 thin slices of carrot which looked like it was from a no-name can, with an ugly green garnish. The dish was boring, overly calculated (too cheap to spring for a reasonable side?), the flavours didn't go together and it was way overpriced-- $14 -- and it wasn't even filling for a snack.
The nature burger looked very unappetizing-shriveled and carelessly placed, next to an extremely simple salad. No further comment necessary.
The menu is much too simple and boring for my tastes, and the food tastes plain. The decor is cute and the best thing it has going for it.
I will not be coming here again.
Me and my wife went for a breakfast on Sunday morning at Myddy Duck. Customer service and staff was amazing, They have good variety and you have so many things to choose from. We specially like the way they make omellette and custommize is as per your needs

Me and my husband had previously heard great reviews about this place... but to be honest, we were both disappointed. Everything was just "okay". It's not like I was expecting gourmet food, but I don't think the price was worth it. Would have been cheaper to buy frozen fries/chicken fingers and place them in the oven myself (it would have tasted the same too). Probably wouldn't return.

First off, the service is wonderful and the hostesses/employees really care to make you feel comfortable and that you are satisfied with everything; the atmosphere is very cozy and intimate with mini fireplaces and a large enclosed solarium so you have the patio feeling without being outside, and the food- the FOOD is spectacular!!! This place has the most amazing caesar salad on the planet and its because they make their own dressing! And the food is so homemade fresh that it feels like you're right at home. The fact that this place has been open for over 20 years truly speaks for itself.
Excellent service, unbelievably beautiful atmosphere om the indoor patio, great food!

This restaurant is sacred ground for me. Some of my fondest memories with family and friends have taken place here. It’s crazy how it hasn’t changed over the decades. The Muddy Duck is the definition of an institution. I’ve been coming here since I could fit in their high chairs. They have the most amazing staff. I look forward to many more fond memories at the Muddy Duck.

Best breakfast/brunch in town. Omelette/egg station is top notch. Great selection of breads & pastries, cheeses & meats. Amazing waffles! Fresh squeezed oj & a soft-serve ice cream machine for the kiddos. Very family-friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

It has been over ten years since the last time I had lunch at the Muddy Duck and it was still a wonderful place as back then. Our server was exceptional and all but one meal at our table was terrific The one meal of chicken slouvaki was disappointingly sparse consisting of one scoop of rice and a small stick of chicken & tzatziki. A few vegetables would have made a difference. Overall it was a very enjoyable cousins gathering lunch and I hope to return again.

Gone are the days of the “golden griddle” breakfast buffet. My friend and I went there (first time for me, 2nd time for her), they don’t have very much selection and no chocolate chips for the pancakes, no whipped cream, hard boiled eggs as the self serve option.... or you can order an omelette from a 1 person station. Very dingy and old looking restaurant. Reminds me of left over breakfast from the day before. Should’ve gone to mandarin. $16.99 is too much for so little.

My biggest concern was that even though I had made reservations, specifically for the atrium, the host seated two of us in the atrium but my friend who arrived separately was seated up near the buffet. We waited and waited for each other, finally texting each other 40 minutes later and eventually got seated together in the atrium. Consequently, we had less time together and didn’t eat till an hour after our arrival!!!!!
