Beautiful decor, atmosphere was lively and fun. They hit the drums when a big dish is being served, very dramatic and seems like a specialty. We went for summerlicious was hyped about the ube desserts. When ordering we were informed that they ran ouy of ALL ice cream to to accompany the cake, which was fine at first. Later we noticed people being served ice cream scoops and even my friend had ice cream in her drink, so why did they lie? The entree took an abnormally long time to get to us, we didnt say anything but 3 servers kept checking on us to make sure we were ok. The food was pretty good no complaints about that, the dessert (ube cale) was really good but you could tell they were stinging out. Maybe because there wasnt enough? The cake slices were very thin and sad. We ordered taro ube smoothie and an avocado smoothie both did not taste as they were supposed too. Taro had hints of banana flavour which was odd and avocado was a neon green colour and tastes like honeydew, the server said it was avocado. It was weird and overpriced for a drink in my opinion and i am pretty sure some kind of food dye was used... I was a bit dissapointed overall but food is pretty good just stick with their specialties in terms of drinks.

We were there for the summerlicious. The food is OK, but the service is terrible. We waited for one hour for our dessert. They explained that one of their dessert chefs didn't show up (when we asked why). When the dessert finally came/we asked for the bill, they didn't offer any discount or compensation. We gave 15% tips but won't be there again. Oh and when we ordered food, their ipad ordering system had some kind of bugs then we had to order all things again.

The service was horribly slow and when the orders finally arrived, they were either wrong or cold. If it weren't for the good friends I was with, the evening would have been a wash. One positive is that the food that was warm tasted good.

Amazing service! Staff are absolutely lovely and quickly got whatever we requested. Food took a little long to come, but we understand that it was super busy especially because of Summerlicious. The food was worth the wait & tasted great.

Not impressed! Service wasn't accurate or in a timely fashion, not friendly or attentive. We ordered a pitch of Mocktail, never arrived, not even after a couple of reminders, but the item was charged promptly on the bill. We shouldn't have tipped them. Food quality was OK but not hot, a sign of mass production during the Summerlicious promotion. The skews of pork have 6 little dices, the "Special" salad which bears their name was watery, counted for 16 pieces of romaine lettuce.Other patrons ordered from the regular menu seems to be more impressive. Debating if we should return to give them a second chance.

We did Summerlicious for dinner and it did not disappoint. Although it took a while to get our food, the staff was kind enough to let us know of the long wait.

Disappointed with dish called ( bicol express) I didn't fill any spicy chille in there, Calamasi juice is too sweet. But for sure is worth to try.

I went for 1st time for Summerlious, an hour after my appetizer and main course served, i wouldnt be able to wait another half an hour for my dessert so i have told my server if she can bring my dessert and bill at same time .i saw another server with a bill at her hand before approcing to my table she stop at the table before mine and took their dessert order first, left and came back with their desserts and left my bill at their table. Finally i catch her attention. I told her if she can bring my dessert with my bill. She left came back with my dessert packed up to go with i never said i wanted it to go.To make it worst, she took the initiative to charged me 15 % for tip which i strongly disagree To sum up, i'll never come back again horrble experience

Summerlicious main was delayed because of a catering event, but long wait times are expected at actual southeast asian restaurants. either way, 1 star deducted due to long wait time. We were offered free appetizer in light of the wait though. Otherwise, staff is quite friendly. Atmosphere makes you feel like you're in one of the high end places in southeast asia. Pretty good. Food is excellent. Had crispy pork belly. The flavor makes me feel like I'm eating the porkiest pork pork.

EXTREMELY disappointed on the summerlicous menu, the spring roll was cold, the pork belly was dry, the chicken sigsi fries was hard and dry, the ice-cream was melted when present to me, the service is slow, i arrived at 11:30am and no water until 12"15pm which i have to ask for 2 times. Suggest go at other time, but for sure not summerlicous

Excellent experience tonight at CASA Manila! From the cozy, authentic decor to the friendly, timely service to of course, the delicious food. It's family owned and you can see it in the meticulous attention to detail. The owner came out and chatted with us; very friendly. Would highly recommend it!

Went during Summerlicious. It was very busy. Reservations are a must. Asked wait staff if always this busy and they said yes. It is a lovely restaurant and the sampling of food was excellent. I would definitely go back to try some more. Prices are very reasonable for a Toronto restaurant. Our server was not totally knowledgeable and didn't satisfactorily answer all of our questions. The service was very slow owing to how busy the restaurant was at the time. Being a phillipino restaurant, the guests were mainly phillipino at the time we were there which we take as a sign of authenticity of the food. Overall a great experience and we will definitely go back.

We came to Casa Manila for Summerlicious. After we received our appetizer, it took almost an hour for our main course to come. When we followed up the first time, the waitress did not give any explanation. When we followed up the second time, the waitress gave some excuse on a "discrepancy" between the kitchen and front of house. There was no apology or effort to correct this mistake. I find this lack of service completely unacceptable and I will not be returning to this restaurant.

We had Summerlicious among the group of us. The main course was amazing (delicious crispy pork belly, tender adobo chicken, vegetable in coconut sauces, garlic rice), while the appetizer was alright (typical 'oriental' salad with Mandarin slices, bite size spring rolls) and the dessert was straight on disappointing to be very honest (really dry ube cake, melted ice cream - we asked the waitress and she said 'this is how ice cream should be' - and they sell ice cream!!). Also their beverages were great (ube milkshake, coconut dream cocktail). I would return for the main dishes and drinks, but not for apps or dessert. Also I would go on non-peak time because we sat around for a long while between our main course and dessert. We actually had to remind the servers as we saw there were guests waiting for seats.

Service was really bad..food took so long to be served...the karekare was disgusting..it was cold and pasty..the pansit looks like it had been cooked several hours ago..the crispy pata had more fat than meat and the calamares was mediocre..halohalo was served without giving us a spoon!! Definitely will not come back 😖

Definite Filipino ambiance. Enjoyed hearing the intro drums to Kamayan meals. Better service would come for a la carte with the timing of when main entree meals come out. Orders should come out together. We received adobo and lechon well in advance of when the rice and pancit were served so majority of meats eaten before rice/pancit came out. Pandesal should be made fresh or purchased and eaten while fresh. The pandesal we received was very dry and had white spots that typically appear from freezer burn/defrosted bread. We love pandesal and didn't even finish the full pandesal buns because it was disappointing. Mixed pancit was good as was the chicken adobo and lechon. Both springs rolls were great. Fresh ube ice cream was great. Turon could be a bit sweeter for the bananas used or with the sugar glaze. Overall good experience being 1st Filipino restaurant. However I would definitely try others before returning to Casa Manila.

We have been waiting since 5:10pm-6:10pm. For some reason it took so long for the food to come. And the owner of the restaurant just compensate us with 12 tiny spring rolls. Not even discount. To be honest, I won't recommend this to our friends cause it' not worthy to pay $120 for their kamayan. It taste pretty much like the food from the food court. 😦
