The palabok noodles were under cook and the fried crispy pasta was over cooked and hence dry and burnt to the taste

Restaurant didn't return our phone call for a reservation for their "Kamayan" service. They eventually accommodated our request once we got there but this meant an extra 40 minute wait for our meal. They weren't also upfront in telling us that the service charge (gratuity) was already added to the bill which caused my daughter to add $42 in tips which was certainly not her intention.

Although the servers were pleasant enough, they were overwhelmed by the number of diners. Could not even get our water glass refilled. The food came in stages, one dish and a rice bowl (for 5 people) came first and another 10 minutes before two more came and then the last two with another rice bowl after another 5 min. The pancit palabok was not very appetizing, soggy wet and cold by the time it got to us. The chicken inasal was similar and tasted "mediciny". This is the second time in 2 weeks where we had similar service concerns. Might have to wait a while before we go back.

Great space and food. The lumpia was a little soggy and flan portion was small. They forgot our order of Calamansi Mojito drink pitcher and it showed up on the bill but was politely taken off. Food service was a little slow but understandable because it was busy and a little overwhelming for a family run restaurant

Made my reservation for 5 pm, the restaurant wasn't that busy at the time. We got seated to our table within a few minutes of arrival. Pretty much know what we would order. As stated on the menu it took 20 mins for our grilled platter to be ready. As soon as the food was ready it came one after the other. Food was really good! Enjoyed everything. Great interaction with the owner! The restaurant got busier later in the evening. Arrive early to secure your spot. Will definitely come back! Parking can be a little tricky.

One word summarizes the experience: Sayang! (What a pity!) This restaurant has the potential of being something spectacular, but the service really made the evening an entire loss. And it wasn't only for my table, but for the 3 tables surrounding us. Apparently the servers only attended to parties of 8 or more with care, and left the 4 tables of two each completely stranded in the section off by the window. We were visiting Toronto, and being a Filipino-American I was excited about trying a place that looked pretty authentic. We ordered the Summerlicious menu...the servers (more than one passed by) all forgot my first course (nilaga) and it was brought after the main course. (The nilaga, by the way, a beef soup, had one small cube of meat smaller than 1 cubic cm. in size.) The lechon was very good, and I tried my husband's adobo which was also very good. The server apologized to everyone in our section, but no one really made amends to any of our tables. What a pity. I wouldn't be surprised if the subpar service ends up alienating more customers. Sayang.

We came at a busy time. Summerlicious. Understandably busy and noisy. The place was full!! And in full swing. Food was DELICIOUS!!! Well prepared and seasoned. Amazing leche flan- not too sweet, creamy and yummy burnished caramel. A wow!!! Even if the place was busy, the service came with a smile!!! Friendly welcoming staff!

Beautiful decor, atmosphere was lively and fun. They hit the drums when a big dish is being served, very dramatic and seems like a specialty. We went for summerlicious was hyped about the ube desserts. When ordering we were informed that they ran ouy of ALL ice cream to to accompany the cake, which was fine at first. Later we noticed people being served ice cream scoops and even my friend had ice cream in her drink, so why did they lie? The entree took an abnormally long time to get to us, we didnt say anything but 3 servers kept checking on us to make sure we were ok. The food was pretty good no complaints about that, the dessert (ube cale) was really good but you could tell they were stinging out. Maybe because there wasnt enough? The cake slices were very thin and sad. We ordered taro ube smoothie and an avocado smoothie both did not taste as they were supposed too. Taro had hints of banana flavour which was odd and avocado was a neon green colour and tastes like honeydew, the server said it was avocado. It was weird and overpriced for a drink in my opinion and i am pretty sure some kind of food dye was used... I was a bit dissapointed overall but food is pretty good just stick with their specialties in terms of drinks.

The service was horribly slow and when the orders finally arrived, they were either wrong or cold. If it weren't for the good friends I was with, the evening would have been a wash. One positive is that the food that was warm tasted good.

We were there for the summerlicious. The food is OK, but the service is terrible. We waited for one hour for our dessert. They explained that one of their dessert chefs didn't show up (when we asked why). When the dessert finally came/we asked for the bill, they didn't offer any discount or compensation. We gave 15% tips but won't be there again. Oh and when we ordered food, their ipad ordering system had some kind of bugs then we had to order all things again.

Not impressed! Service wasn't accurate or in a timely fashion, not friendly or attentive. We ordered a pitch of Mocktail, never arrived, not even after a couple of reminders, but the item was charged promptly on the bill. We shouldn't have tipped them. Food quality was OK but not hot, a sign of mass production during the Summerlicious promotion. The skews of pork have 6 little dices, the "Special" salad which bears their name was watery, counted for 16 pieces of romaine lettuce.Other patrons ordered from the regular menu seems to be more impressive. Debating if we should return to give them a second chance.
