I hosted my birthday party this past April at Casa Manila (group of 30!) I was esctastic to discover that they hosted a Sunday brunch buffet with their top menu selections. Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork). Every single guest complimented the selection and quality of food. We all left with fully satisfied bellies. I definitely recommend this place!

From the day we stumbled upon Casa Manila maybe 4 years ago, it has been our favourite restaurant. We recommend it to EVERYONE we know. It’s unique, great atmosphere, friendly people, and the food is just unbelievable. Unfortunately, we moved to Whitby and we just don’t have the time to come as often as we’d like. So it had been a while since we last had the pleasure of dining with you. I was not surprised to see the atmosphere and food had not changed at all. What a treat! We ordered wayyy to much food, as usual because everything sounds soooo good, ate a TON, and look forward to our next experience. My husband actually commented that it feels like you’re at a resort and he’s absolutely right. Keep up the good work!!! IF YOU HAVN’T TRIED CASA MANILA, YOU NEED TO DO SO RIGHT AWAY!!!

Atmosphere was fun to begin, but really disappointed with the service and food at the end of the night. All because was we waited over an hour for our order of kamayan. Presentation was great and food was mediocre.

Most importantly, the food was great! The service was quite slow and spotty however - it took a long time for anyone to check on us. It was hard to get the eye of any of the service people. And the server who took our order didn't know the menu and spent way longer than should have been necessary to tap our order on an iPad screen. Additionally, I had stated in my reservation that it was for a birthday dinner, but no one asked about that. Meanwhile, two other tables had the staff come out and sing a happy birthday cheer and include a sparkler on their desserts.

Service was erratic. Given the type of food being served, it lacked intensity in flavour but was passable. We were stuck in a corner next to a large table with children running past and even knocking one of our dishes while family ignored them. The staff were even blocked by the children at times. Not the restaurants fault but there were other tables open and we could have been placed away from them. Won't be returning.

The Kamayan feast experience was really nice but the service was very slow. When I made reservations they were very strict about what time we have to be there and how many pple. I was told we can’t be late and If even one person doesn’t show up I will still get charged. So a place this strict I expected things to be on time. No. We waited around for more than half hour between courses and for the main dish to arrive. And they charge 20% tips automatically. Most places only changed 10% on large parties, 20% is excessive, especially since the service wasn’t worthy of that percentage. The food was good but not worth the long wait and it wasn’t cheap. I enjoyed the Kamayan experience but wouldn’t pay the money and won’t be going back

Thank you Mila, Christine and the rest of the staff at Casa Manila for making my son's baptism a memorable one. We had the restaurant to ourselves during our alloted time of booking and it was so nice to have the private space. The service I received from the booking to planning was excellent. Mila and Christine responded to my inquiries at a timely manner. It was a pleasure and so easy to work with them both. The service on the day of the event was really good. The food as always was delicious. All of guests enjoyed it and had nothing but good things to say. The "Kamayan" experience really blew our guests away. It was a "something old and something new" for them and brought back memories of the Philippines or an opportunity to try a unique way of eating. Either way it was very well received by our guests. Don't miss out on trying this and don't forget the "halo-halo". A special shoutout to the kitchen staff. You were amazing! This was my 4th visit at Casa Manila and so glad we were able to share this one with our family and friends. Thank you everyone at Casa Manila... see you again soon!

Food was great! The Filipino Hospitality culture makes it even more amazing experience! I am thankful that we chose to book our venue at Casa Manila to celebrate my Daughter’s Baptism. Thank you to the owner of the restaurant, Ma’am Mila for attending to our event that day. We will definitely be back again!

We really enjoyed our meal at casa Manila. Had the whole banquet and added a 35lb leachon. I haven’t had many lechon, but t was the best that i have had. No complaints at all. The manager was really engaged and friendly. We learned a lot about Filipino cuisine and had a lot of leftovers. I will definitely be back.

Everything tasted fresh and delicious. Great cocktails also. The staff was very helpful. The placement of the food and dishes was a little DIY but other than that, no complaints at all. I will definitely go back and try the banana leaf experience next time! I highly recommend it :D

First they wouldn’t even tell us that service charge was already included. In addition, they charged us for something that another table ordered and we only realized that after paying the bill. They couldn’t void the credit card and gave us cash instead. It was very disappointing.

Food was delicious and fresh and quickly served. We had the tofu Kare Kare, Chicken Adobo, garlic rice, and Vegan canton noodles for our main meal. for dessert we had halo halo & leche flan. Both were excellent. Our server was very patient and listened to our dietary needs (i.e. allergies), and offered recommendations when we struggled to choose.

We did the Kamayan for the first time. Everyone enjoyed the experience. The food was good but got cold before we finished eating. I suppose it's in part due to so much food and it took us some time to eat. The other part was that it was served on banana leaves for an authentic experience. Would still have preferred that it was served piping hot and kept warm somehow. We chose the halo halo for dessert and everyone thought it was one of the best they've tasted. servers were friendly and accommodating. The 20% gratuity that was added automatically to the bill made the $29.95 per person meal a $35.94 per person meal so you can compare this to an all you can eat lunch buffet at Mandarin to determine if it's worth it. The I would recommend it for the experience but if you just want to have a good Filipino meal, ordering from the menu or trying their buffet would hit the spot just the same and each person in your party can choose what they want instead of the fixed menus for the kamayan.

Embarrassing! I took my friend to your restaurant for birthday. Food was half warm, terrible!!! You charge $9 for glass of wine, that is more than in best downtown restaurants. There were only 2 other people during lunch. I am sooo disappointed. You will not see me ever in your restaurant.
