IL FORNELLO has long been considered one of the best Italian restaurants in Toronto, Richmond Hill, Oakville and most recently Ajax and Barrie. In Italy 'pizza a legna' (wood-fired pizza) is available everywhere, but it wasn't until Il FORNELLO opened their first Toronto restaurant and offered authentic, wood-fired oven, Neapolitan style, thin crust pizza that Torontonians were able to experience pizza the way it was meant to be enjoyed. Great food and service for the price

Food was superb! The server was so nice and actually offered free deserts for both of us. Very well prepared and presented. Even the coffee in the end was good. :)

Bad Food and Poor Service

Pizza had very little cheese, tasted like cardboard. Chicken was thick and dry. Service was poor and when I spoke to the owner he was rude and condesending. Bad experience overall.
