The best food, atmosphere and service. I feel fortunate to have such amazing mexican food so close to home. The restaurant has a fun atmosphere and is very well managed. I highly recommend Mexican Amigos.

Excellent food, service and ambiance!

My only complaint is that we weren't told when we made the reservation that the restaurant closed at 9. The erver was lovely and accommodated us but I may have gone elsewhere that particular night given my time constraints.

One of our favourite restaurants and the only place we will go to get our Mexican fix. We’ve tried most of the menu items and are always pleased. On top of the great food, the service is outstanding with friendly servers and the wonderful owner always ensuring you are satisfied. Highly recommend!!

I was not happy with the food I got. I ordered the shrimp and fish fajita. There was absolutely NO seasoning in the dish. I expected a lot more given that Mexican food is full of flavours. This was very bland. Service was very very slow but i understand due to covid. However, bad tasting food has no excuse. After all, I am paying for the meal.

We went to Mexican Amigos to celebrate a birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

Food was delicious, a kids menu would be great as the burrito was bigger than our daughter 😁. Not only will we be back but we will recommend this place to many. Ty and see u soon

Our waitress was very nice & attentive. We really liked the atmosphere with the TVs. The food presentation was lovely. The portion size for my meal and my sister and nieces was perfect. My son who was celebrating his birthday enjoyed his fajitas but said he would have enjoyed a larger portion of chicken. We brought our own cake and the staff sang happy birthday. Overall a good evening and would go back again.

I cannot stress how horrible this dinning experience was. We had reservations for 6. Did not have a server come to us until 6:00pm. We had to escalate to server. We did not get water until 7:09pm. First plate did not come until 7:23pm. They forgot my sangria and once I got it, it was not good at all. They served everyone except for one person at our table. They didn’t bring the taco salad bowl. Took 15 minut s for her to get her salad. My daughter got an ice tea. When she got to the bottom of her drink she found a sol beer bottle cap. The manager tried to apologize but did not seem sincere. We got our bill. You would have thought they would comp the drinks. No. They took $13.00 off our bill. Honestly it should have been free. They then gave us a card for $10.00 off our next visit. We all know we are never coming back. Horrible service. So sad as I love Mexican food. But this place was no friend of mine.

The worst service I have ever received. My sister gave her water to my husband because we couldn't get anyone to our table for drink refills. Server forgot our appetizer order completely. We had to flag down a man several times to order drinks, get our bill, etc because our server never checked in on us. We were only a party of three when there were many large tables but it's between Christmas and new years... If the waitress cannot handle the busy workload get more staff on shift. This is the fault of management. Food was very good. Drinks leave some room for improvement - and I'm pretty sure the pitcher of sangria we ordered had no wine in it. Probably someone was busy and it got left out but what were we supposed to do? I literally even tried sitting with my hand raised in the air for a minute straight and no one came over. We left without dessert because we couldn't stand the lack of service plus we had finished eating at least 30 minutes prior and didn't want to wait another half hour to see if someone would ask if we wanted some. It's a good thing I had enough cash to cover the bill. After flagging someone down to bring the bill our server dropped it with a pile of candy and never came back to see if we needed a machine to pay with credit. I left almost the exact bill (slightly over) because no one asked if I needed change and I wasn't leaving a (good) $26 tip for poor service. Took my sister here as it's close to her house but we're already planning a trip to Made In Mexico (our usual spot) in Newmarket to make up for such an awful experience. Will not return.

Service was a bit slow but food was very good. Both adults and kids had a great time. It was for my sister's birthday and the staffs got her a piece of cake and sang her the happy birthday song.

The food was amazing when it finally came.

The food was boring and bland. Tasted like Taco Bell. Had to ask the server 3 times for water. Service was slow and staff was unengaged. Decor is boring. We were interested because they have lots of tv's to go there to eat while watching the Leafs game. But they have horrible halogen lighting that when you look up to the tv's you get blinded by the lights. Really poor planning. I will never return.

The food is yummy, the portions are HUGE and the service was wonderful. Love this place!

Great place for Mexican food at a great price. Staff is courteous and great ambiance.
