Ba-Li Laffa is a full-service Kosher COR supervised restaurant that offers authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and flavours. "Ba-Li Laffa", meaning "I feel like having a Laffa" in Hebrew, is a Mediterranean Grill with two locations, (North and South), conveniently located on Bathurst St., home to many of Toronto's Jewish community. All of our food is made fresh on the spot without any preservatives. We do not compromise on taste using the freshest ingredients that can compliment any healthy lifestyle. Our menu includes freshly-baked laffas, (and pitas too), stuffed with delicious Israeli favourites such as Falafel, Shawarma, Chicken or Lamb Shish Kebobs, and a variety of in-house salads and spreads, including, Israeli Salad, Hummus, Umba, and Makbuka, to name but a few. All of these can be ordered, individually, or as family platters. In addition to these signature dishes, Ba-Li Laffa is also recognized for many other culinary delicacies such as their Chinese food specials and more...

Generally pretty good place to grab a bite, I wouldn't bring 'first dates' unless you don't mine people eavesdropping on your convo. They get very busy in the evening so expect the service to be sub par (I think they may be understaffed)

They just opened and was strong smell of cleaning detergents like ammonia. Plenty of food and extra salads but I would not say it's israeli quality. Some was blend and I felt expensive. Service was very good, waiter was very accommodating.

Great to have both the Thai menu and the Grill menu. Service was great. 4 small salads brought to table while we waited. I had the Mongolian beef - very good

Friendly staff, great food... love the family Atmosphere. First time I had a Kosher meal. Went for business, going back with my family to enjoy great food and discover new dishes. Can't stop thinking about that eggplant appetizer, out of this world. Thank you!

I had a seat reserved the day before but when they I got there they didn't have a table for me. And it was my birthday, how embarrassing. Service was pretty slow. We only got the menu after 20 minutes of sitting down. Otherwise food was great.

Great hummus. It was incredibly busy for a Tuesday night but it was pleasant, in a casual/Israel-ish kind of way.

The north location compared to the south location is ridiculous. The dinner was fantastic, service was amazing, portions were huge and overall everything was 5*

They did not get our online reservation for 8. Hmmm. But the owner got on it pretty quick and although the place was pretty busy he carved out a space for us within 10 or so minutes. Our server (Jordon?) was terrific, young guy and very attentive. The food was good but they have an odd sense of what Medium should be. Both my steak and my brother's kabob leaned more towards well done than medium. Maybe its a Toronto conservative thing - who knows. Tell them you want it a bit red in the center if you want medium.
