Ba-Li Laffa is a full-service Kosher COR supervised restaurant that offers authentic Middle Eastern cuisine and flavours. "Ba-Li Laffa", meaning "I feel like having a Laffa" in Hebrew, is a Mediterranean Grill with two locations, (North and South), conveniently located on Bathurst St., home to many of Toronto's Jewish community. First and last time visiting this establishment. Rushed through our meal and literally pushed out the door after 1 hour and 15 minutes. A large group was coming and they needed to empty the restaurant. Had we been told when we made our reservation we would have changed to an earlier time or gone somewhere else. Very disappointed.
As well the ribs are very expensive and it was difficult to find some meat on them. They were also served lukewarm.

Ba-Li Laffa is one of the better kosher restaurants in the GTA. The food tastes excellent and servings are large. The menu has a good choice, including Asian dishes. Prices are between $18 and $25 for most main courses, but up to $45 for steak or lamb chops.
The restaurant is loud and crowded, hence the 2 star rating.
The servers are friendly, but are typically too busy to warrant a 5 star rating.
Reservations are recommended since the wait can be half an hour on busy nights. Parking is ample.

Of the three of us two meals were good and one was not good. Blinding sunlight came through the top windows which made for some discomfort (you would think they would have a solution after so many years.) Other than standing and waiting for 15 minutes (yes we had a reservation, they were just busy), the service was very good.
