Bricco Kitchen and Wine Bar is a small restaurant in the heart of Toronto´s historic Junction village. The name bricco comes from the Piedmont region in the north west of Italy, in the foothills of the Alps, referring to best slope or hill of the vineyard. This is an area which mirrors our goal of showcasing a meaningful connection between food and wine. The menu is Italian drawing upon influences from around the Mediterranean with a simple and comforting feel. We offer up to 20 wines by the glass with rotating thematic red and white flights. more... Always a fantastic experience at Bricco. Fortunately, I live around the corner, but this is a place I would go to even if I had to trek across the city. The food and wine selection are incredible, the service is always great, and it’s a really cool space (an old pickle factory, I’ve been told). I would absolutely recommend this place to friends and family. Always be sure to make a reservation! It can get busy.

The octopus appetizer was great. Possibly the best octopus I have have ever had. Ordered the daily special, steak and potatoes. Steak was a nice cut, the potato side was over cooked and driy

The food was absolutely delicious. From the start to the very end. Fresh and authentic. We were very impressed by Mira, her professionalism at work. The best prepared food of all the restaurants we have tried in Toronto. Please keep the standard.

I would give food a 3.5 if I could. The marrow is delicious, the octopus was mushy though. And brussels could have been better. Beautiful restaurant and good service.

I recently went to Bricco for a dinner with my family on New Year’s Eve. The resturant itself and the vibes were great. The service was ok, the woman serving us seemed a bit annoyed that we were asking questions about the menu (many things were not everyday ingredients). My Dad also ordered a Diet Coke, which came expired. Upon asking for a new one, the waiter brought 2 more expired Coke’s from 2016 which tasted awful and didn’t apologize for this. The food was pretty good. Overall, our experience was good but not great.

Food was generally excellent from the antipasto to the main course and the flourless chocolate cake. The white sausage was a little bland for our taste The room feels a little too spartan for our taste. We feel some art on the walls would add warmth. Speaking of warmth, each time the door opened cold air wafted in. This is our biggest concern. An air lock would help. Lastly a large party took over the room towards the end of our meal and drove up the noise level making it difficult to have conversation. We don't know if another area of the restaurant is available for large groups.

very attentive staff. Food options wide enough to satisfy different tastes. Options for basic pastas for children were available off-menu. Presentation excellent. Food excellent. Early Saturday sitting with family. Never felt rushed. Still my favorite in the Junction.

This was by far my best restaurant experience since moving to Toronto. The service was incredible and the food was even better. I can't even describe the gnocchi. I reserved a table same-day, and was able to find something (a little earlier than I would have liked), but the place was packed and we would have been waiting otherwise. The atmosphere is incredible too. Without a doubt, Bricco is my favourite restaurant in the Junction...maybe in the whole city.

The atmosphere was great and my company really enjoyed it as well. Our waiter was very informative about the wine and the dishes. I had the special pasta with in-season truffles. I love that everything including the wine changes by season or is added by season. The staff was amazingly accommodating to my party as we had a baby and an a toddler and they did everything to make the babies comfortable! Would definitely recommend this place for a date or small gathering.

It’s funny – Bricco is also in the Junction and also feels very New York, but has the more modern, sleek feel of Tribeca than the West Village. The large room is made to feel even more spacious by the white walls, high ceiling and tables spread far apart. What a luxury to be able to talk without having a table right next to you. Finally, you can really talk and eat in peace. And maybe, just maybe, fall in love just a little bit more.

With brick walls, wooden tables, chandeliers, fresh flowers, and the perfect amount of mood lighting, Bricco is undeniably romantic. An upscale Italian eatery meets charmed neighbourhood wine bar – you’ll be delighted when you walk past the steamy window and peer into the amber-hued romance inside. Menu standouts? Be sure to take a gander at the rich wine list, the handmade pastas, and the daily zuppa di pesce (fish stew).
