Mill St. Brewery officially opened in December 2002. The brewery began in an original tank house within the historic Gooderham & Worts Distillery complex, now known as the Historic Distillery District. Built in the late 1870s, the building is a well preserved example of classic Victorian industrial architecture. In 2013 Mill St. Brewery added a new dimension to the Mill St. Brew Pub family with the launch of The Beer Hall. Using a sophisticated draught beer delivery system, The Beer Hall offers a selection of Mill St. beers pumped through copper encased beer lines. The delivery system also services a copper still that is used to distill the new Mill St. Bierschnaps. Created from their award-winning craft beers, the Mill St. Bierschnaps, a traditional German style dry spirit, is a first for Canadian Craft brewers. must visit

If you like fresh beer and good food this is the place to visit. Situated in trendy Distillery District, it is a place to go and have a great night with friends or a date with someone special. There is a Mill Street beer store right on site. One of my fave spots

We ordered salmon meal for three of us. It was very delicious. It was served with a grain called farro. The server told us it was gluten free. However upon checking on it, farro is not a gluten free grain. Please make sure you do not recommend this grain to celiac clients. Thank you.

The food and beers were great. The pub has a nice atmosphere and it is possible to have a conversation without screaming. However, our waiter was rude most of the time and had an attitude all night. I understand it was a busy night. Nevertheless, it ruins the experience at such a nice place

I had a wedding rehearsal lunch at your venue. My sister in law stated she has celiac disease and requested a gluten free menu. When she ordered she reminded the server again she had celiac disease and ordered the gluten free burger and salad. The burger came on a regular bun and there was barley in the salad. Both of those things have gluten!!! Thankfully she recognized it right away or it would have made her VERY sick. She notified the server immediately and he put in the gluten free order. Unfortunately it arrived after the rest of our party was already finished eating! Also, when I made the reservation I was not notified it would be two separate tables. This was very disappointing as it was a wedding rehearsal lunch and we would have much preferred to eat together and would have booked somewhere else if we knew it was going to be two different tables. Was not happy with our visit at all!

Our server was super! Very savvy when it comes to service and friendliness - the mix isn't always easy to get. We'll come back! The kale caesar is the best in the city- rivaling the barefoot contessa's!

We made reservations but were told to wait in line without being asked what name the reservation was under so we were seated about 30 minutes after the time of our reservation. This was a bit of a problem because we were on a schedule the day of our visit so due to lunch being late, we didn't get as much time to enjoy the area as had been planned. The food was good, not great. Once inside, the service was fine.

It was a wonderful experience and the perfect atmosphere for our family of 3 generations. The menu is diverse, the restaurant is roomy enough for large parties to enjoy a meal with enough privacy so that we could have a nice visit and not be disturbed by other customers.

Great atmosphere, we knew the venue before we came in. We were put at a "sunny outdoor table" which was completely shaded and chilly. I put the umbrella down to get some of the sun and had to sit with the umbrella blowing in my face the whole time. Our reservations were a 12:15 and we were seated on time, we were one of the only tables there, placed our order within the standard amount of time. We were given water with no ice or straws, and waited over 1 hour for our food to come out. 1 meal was forgotten but quickly resolved and 1 side was also forgotten and had to remind the waitress and remove it from the bill. Overall, it was a good meal and great spot - but we would not return due to the length of time it took to be served.

We had a wonderful family dinner celebrating my husband's 45th birthday. I was pleasantly surprised by the frequent texts to confirm details such as high chairs and numbers days ahead of the event . My questions were promptly answered. Our server, Neil, was patient and accommodating with us. Such a nice guy! Our Sunday night roast orders were delicious and we appreciated that care was taken to ensure that we got our orders accurately. Our only complaint would be the hostesses at the front ignored us for a long time. When they finally acknowledged us, they said our table was ready but continued to make us wait while they seated and spoke to other guests with no apology or explanation. We would return otherwise.

Everything was perfect, from the flexibility of the restaurant to accommodate such a large group, to the service from Phillip, to the entertainer (who kept the little ones dancing and entertained), to the yummy food. We were entertaining family from Australia, and they had a great time. Thanks to Mill St. Brew Pub for a fantastic evening!

Either that apps came late or the main course came WAY too early as we were trying to eat the nachos when the mains arrived. I was gonna say send them back but had to resist. Poor timing. The rest of the experience was great.

Maybe it was an off night! We had a reservation for 7pm. Did not get seated until almost 730pm. The hostess was overwhelmed and under supported. We were not given a reasonable explanation for the delay in a timely manner. It was a busy night - I understand that. But, staff accordingly and communication is key with your customers. It soured the evening and I will likely not return to that location. Very disappointing.
