    must visit

If you like fresh beer and good food this is the place to visit. Situated in trendy Distillery District, it is a place to go and have a great night with friends or a date with someone special. There is a Mill Street beer store right on site. One of my fave spots

All meals were disapointing. Smashed avocado tacos so salty could not eat them. The frittata has no flavour and was I we cooked. Eggs benny were okay. Won't go back.

We won a gift certificate to eat here, and were looking forward to trying it out. Overall it was an average restaurant experience. They were out of at least half of the beers on their menu, which meant that half of the drinks were not available either, as they infuse beer in all of their alcoholic offerings. So we were disappointed in the options on their drinks menu. Food menu is very basic, not a lot of options. The food was good, but nothing outstanding that would make me recommend this place over others, especially with the difficulty in getting to the Distillery District and the food/drinks were overpriced. The meal came to over $60 with taxes, for 2 entrees and 2 drinks. We are used to that coming in around $45 for 2 people at other pubs. So overall we likely won't be back. Just an average pub experience, but over priced.

The service was great - the venue itself seemed really loud. My friend was disappointed with his burger, which looked like something you'd get at McDonald's. Both the server and the manager checked in to offer him something different. My club was pretty good, but pretty small as compared to a Firkin's club sandwich. I wouldn't say I'll never go back, but I will definitely try another place in or around the Distillery first.

The Brewpub is always a great place to go. It was Mother's Day and the service was a bit scattered, unlike the norm. The food is consistently good pub grub. Several at our table had poached eggs that were perfect!

Our server was great, no complaints. I had the frittata which I did not like, I ate it cause I was hungry, but I wouldn't order again. My sister had eggs Benedict and her eggs weren't fully cooked, but my Mum had the same thing and hers were perfect, my niece had the spicy burger and loved it. Overall we enjoyed our brunch and would go back.

A group of us from work went for dinner for a casual night. Our waiter was less than stellar. First we tried to rush us to order our meal before we ordered drinks. Second, maybe I haven’t been in a while but I don’t remember the menu being so limited. I thought there were more options. I had the burger. It was “ok”. Nothing to write home about. And finally, because it was my birthday my coworkers wanted to surprise me with a piece of cake. Well when the waiter brought it, he snuck up behind me and yelled (and I mean yelled!!!) in my ear “Happy Birthday!!” I have never experienced anything g so immature or unprofessional. Not only did it scare me (and everyone else sitting within a 20 ft radius of us), my ear rang for a couple of hours afterwards. I am so put off my the experice (food, service and yelling), that I will not be returning to Mill Street again. I recommend going to any other restaurant and if you want their beer just pick some up at the beer store. At least that way the glass won’t have a crack in it (like mine did).

Three friends and I stopped by Mill Street Pump House for lunch the other day. I ordered fish and chips, my friends ordered eggs Benedict. The batter on my fish was overcooked, while inside was mushy. My fries were cool and limp, not hot and crispy as I like them. The Organic Brew I ordered was on the warm side. My friends experienced a similar thing. Their home fries were not acceptable, cool and tasteless. The hollandaise sauce was bland, lacking zip. The girls found their drinks satisfy, so much so they ordered another. On the other hand, my buddy found his beer to be on the warm side as well. We did appreciate our waiters efforts and enjoyed the Birthday Cake that he arranged for our dear lady friend. This was not our first visit to Mill Street Brew House. Previous visits have been very enjoyable. What has happened!
