Had the best time last night with Anthony et al. Sebastian’s burger by Jeremy@brindleroom was beyond awesome. Perfect night and Anthony could not have been a better host. Loved it from start to finish!!!

Please bring in the brindle room burger full-time, it is the best burger on this planet

Always a fun place to eat

Got to try the brindle room burger at a pop up. They look like 'just a burger' until u bite into it. Beefy and juicy they were awesome. Everyone was super friendly and was having a fun time

We always have a great time at Rose and Sons. The food is so comforting and the staff are hilarious! It’s one of our locals, for a lazy brunch or a satisfying dinner. (I hope they get their soft-serve ice cream machine back!)

Special burger promotion. A real treat. Onions grilled to perfection, and the burger was excellent!! Love their special events!!

Great spot. Perfect menu. Number of items and the types of items. Staff is awesome and it’s good service. Just not sure the food was worth the price; both from a perspective of quantity and quality. Fries were not burnt but almost burnt. Was almost like eating square chips. Pastrami Reuben was underwhelming in the taste department. For $17, more than 2-3 slices of meat for a sandwich that comes with no sides is not too much to ask. That being said the milkshake was top notch. Maybe this was on off day.

The waitress was so sweet, the music right on. Food was great as always, I still think of the sweet pea mac&cheese I had. Must go place when we are in Tdot!

Took 1.5 hours to get our mains, server forgot our drinks twice, our bill had two items that we did not order. Food was so so.

I love this place. Every time I’ve been I’ve had the most outstanding meal, easily my favourite. Everything I’ve ordered somehow tops the last favourite meal I’ve had there! I chose to celebrate mine and my daughters birthdays together there, which are only days (plus 30 years) apart because aside from the fabulous food, I love the warm intimate atmosphere, and the outstandingly friendly service. I’ve taken friends that visited from Australia there to show them what fantastic restaurants Toronto has, hoping to convince them to emigrate. I have enjoyed all of Anthony Roses restaurants, in fact, Fat Pasha was my daughters choice for her first meal back after returning from being away for 2 years.

we ordered the buttermilk fried chicken. the waiter recommended the 5pc for two guys. the chicken pieces were 4 wings and a thigh. definitely not what we expected.

Excellent service. Waitress was fun, friendly, very helpful. And the food was great. Haven't been here except for brunch until now, but I'm really glad we came for dinner. Great food, great fun.

Love that place!

We read on BlogTO that this was one of the city's best brunch spots - and we eat alot of brunch. Well, true to its word - Rose and Sons delivered on all counts. The food was fantastic and service spot on. People seem to really like working there. We will definitely be back!

The restaurant was fine, the service was good - the waitress was very nice and very efficient. But the restaurant is pretty dumpy - shabby chic for sure. The fact that our meal - one app, two mains(one of which was a sandwich), one dessert, one glass of wine and two beers - was over $100 is a bit ridiculous. Take the prices down to suit the spot - don't charge more to make it seem more chic than it actually is.

Food was tasty. Music was too loud. Seats were uncomfortable. Not enough width between table and chairs.

Always satisfying my fried chicken craving. A SOLID brunch, no matter what you order.

A quirky place with passionate and sociable staff, a fun playlist, and just really, really delicious food. The balance in every small component in each dish I tried was phenomenal. From the two different kinds of quick pickled cucumber, to the tahini furikake topping on the fried cauliflower, to the sauces for the fried chicken, and the strawberry jam in the sundae everything had its integrity intact. The mains and appetizers are all very good value and absolutely delicious. My only complaint would be the price of the desserts. At $10 for a sundae, expected something more than just soft serve with homemade strawberry jam and some peanut butter. For what I got, I would pay around $6 if I were to come back again, most likely for the fried chicken dinner.

Excellent meal and excellent service. Definitely on my list to return again!

good food... not great... lousy seating... I don't care about decor...but those booths are very bad...
