The atmosphere and decor were very cute, arrived early but they still seated us almost immediately. We ordered beers and the calamari - it was pricy but delicious! We got the lamb and angus burgers, huge portions which is a plus if you're hungry, but the patties themselves were a little too thick - other than that no complaints! Service was lovely

A fantastic patio experience before Ontario's 18924389495th lockdown. Our server was so kind and our food was pretty quick! Atmosphere was magical and even though it was quite chilly, the heaters were industrial and kept us pretty warm. WISHing I could go back next weekend!

This was a great experience during COVID-19. Our server was super friendly and accommodating to some of our strange dietary requests and the food was delicious.

I've been going to Wish for over a decade, and it's never been less than excellent. I very much admire how well they're coping with the difficult conditions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Was happy to have a great experience for Saturday Brunch this fall. The tables were well-spaced out, with lots of ventilation. The excellent heaters meant we were all pleasantly comfortable even with the crisp fall air. Service was friendly and prompt, with servers wearing masks, sanitizer available, and the proper Public Health guidelines check-in being enforced. Wish has always and continues to be a great place for nicer brunch despite the pandemic. Kudos to all their staff for making the best of a challenging situation for them.

Food was excellent and service was excellent especially with our waiter/server. Two things: 1) Strangely no milk substitutes for coffees/lattes. Some sort of oat/almond or even just a lactose free milk option would have been great 2) Made the reservation but it didn’t specify we’d be outside but when we got there, we were seated outside. There are space heaters but it was still a touch colder than expected. Had no problem sitting outside but some advance warning of that would help just so we can be better dressed

Excellent service and a cool vibe. Went the extra mile to be sure we were enjoying our meal. Had the decadent french toast, was worried it would be too much but it was not overly sugary, so I had to eat it all :)

There were a lot - and I mean a lot - of fruit flies and some black flies inside the restaurant and washroom. It makes me wonder about the cleanliness of the kitchen, floors, and/or trash removal. The weather has been much cooler, so there’s really no excuse for it. Food was excellent. Service was good. However, the host told us we only had 1 hour to dine. Not a great first impression.

I wouldn’t recommend eating here. The service was terrible. I had a bad 1st experience. Had a reservation for 12pm for my boyfriends birthday brunch and we waited at the front for about 7mins before being seated. Once we were seated, we were seated right next to the cash area on the outdoor patio which we felt wasn’t sanitary due to COVID. We asked to be moved. We were seated at another table outside on the patio. It had been raining earlier that morning, so the chairs, table and carpet under our table were wet. My boyfriend and I sat down thinking they would have wiped up the water prior to seating us there and ended up getting the bottoms of our pants and backsides wet. We then asked to be moved again to inside of the restaurant as we were wet and didn’t want to catch a cold. We were again seated between ANOTHER CASH AREA AND THE WASHROOM. 😷😷🤢 I asked if we could be seated at a table further away as they were empty at the time when we were there and the manager had told me he couldn’t because they were reserved. I felt as a paying customer regardless of what is reserved if your customer is unhappy with the seating situation they should be accommodated with any seating available at the time because what if your other reservation doesn’t show up? You just lost money from both parties. Anyway, I asked a server to speak to the manager to express my concern. The manager turned out to be the same person who seated us all 3 times. He explained he didn’t understand why we wanted to be moved and had he known he would have moved us to better seating. I told him that regardless if someone asks to be moved not once but 3 times there clearly is an issue, that should be evident and if a customer has a preference as to where they would like to be seated it should be accommodated as a good customer service practice. My boyfriend and I ended up leaving after the conversation with the manager, we didn’t order anything as we didn’t feel they deserve a cent from us.

The server was not attentive an it was very cold and secluded. I would suggest investing in some heating lamps as well as improving the vibe.

I booked a reservation through Bookenda three days prior to my meal with friends. When we arrived and showed the hostess our reservation, she said that we were not on the reservation list and that no seats were available on the patio because they hadn't checked and noted the reservations through the Bookenda website for that day. I was dissapointed. Overall, the staff were rude and unfriendly.

On a breakfast (including toast) i wanted Challah bread and they Charged me 5$ extra for Challah bread and I only got 1 slice !!!! Rip off seriously crazy

The Salad and Pasta were EXCELLENT !!!!! We will be returning soon and often. The People who work at Wish are WONDERFUL !!!!!

Our waiter was wonderful and I love the atmosphere at wish and the decor!!!

Cute spot, amazing food.

Food was good not great ..the gnocchi was not available and one of us had decided we wanted it even before we came in ...meat to bun ratio was off with burger ..fries were good ..overpriced shrimp bbq for such a small portion

Your server insistently argued that she gave one of us a glass of Pinot Grigio when it was obvious it was not. 5 of us tasted it. She argued Over and over again and didn’t want to hear it It was a $400 tab minimum Never argue with the customer. Just apologize. Best regards, A server
